So I’m the past 60mo, I’ve opened:

2. CSR
3. CSP
4. Citi Business Ink

I’m 3/5 now (because the business card doesn’t count towards 5/24?)

 

Applied and approved for the premier yesterday. So I can go for the AA in 60 days?

I would love a double dip here. Need the CSP and CSR referral. I have messed this up a couple of times so lets see how it goes.

 

What do you mean you've messed it up?

 

The short answer is I am a dumbass. First time I just went ahead and applied for both when I didn't get an immediate approval. Rejected for too many applications. Second was for waiting 29 days instead of 31 days to apply again. I was rejected for applying multiple times in too short of a time frame. Third time is the charm?

 

Also is there a preferred order for CSP/CSR if you are attmepting the double dip.

I currently have CSP and Freedom. Its been 24 months since my bonus. I applied for the CSR today.

2 questions: Do I have to downgrade my CSP prior to applying? Can I downgrade my CSP to Freedom Unlimited and re-apply for CSP again, so I can double dip?

Yes to both, but You probably should've downgraded a few days before

 

Just remember that you usually can't use gift certificates on award bookings and delta restricts some partners

This is probably a dumb question, but can I transfer delta frequent flyer miles to other airlines?

Edit - as in other international airlines, clearly they’re not going to transfer to SW or AA...

 

You can use them on most other skyteam alliance member airlines

 

What is the website that tells you approximately how many points you need based on where you want to fly and if it’s peak/off peak?

Motherfucker this shit is confusing. I'm a complete novice but looking to start earning rewards for travel. Which card is best to start with? (Im sure its somwhere in this thread but dont really want to read all 130+ pages.)Have 2 ccs right now, standard visa through sporting goods store I worked at in college and a target cc(does that even count)? I feel like im wasting opportunities here.

I pay off all of my balances every month. My credit is excellent.

Definitely check the first post to get some ideas but the consensus is that you should likely double dip with the CSR and CSP and collect all the bonus points with those. Then go with the Chase Business Ink Preferred for their sign up bonus.

People in here (including myself) have referral codes so use those.

Done. I usually spend 1-2K month on my CC. Honestly, I put everything I can on there. Mediu. aggressiveness. I dont travel a ton for work or eat out alot so thats the only thing that is making me question whether or not the CSP would be worth it. Question on the points with Chase. Do they expire or can you just keep accumulating?

It's definitely "worth it" to get the csp. $625 in free travel and no annual fee the first year gives you time to reevaluate

Refer her to a CSR. Double dip on both the same day.... Use one card for me and other for her to quickly get bonus

 

I'd love to try and get both, but I don't see any way I can spend 8K in 3 months. I'm leaning towards CSP and The freedom and just use it for the categories and transfer points.

Do that and then downgrade to CSP before the fee hits? No way I can justify the 450 fee.
