If you fly DL once a month I would look into the Amex Platinum + Delta Amex Platinum. Regular platinum will get you into the DL lounges, Amex platinum will get you the MQM bonus if you can spend $25K on it which at your frequency is probably going to give you status
I've decided I'm just not going to get the Platinum till they give me the 100k offer. So basically I'm just never getting it. Am, however, thinking of getting the Amazon Prime card as I do all my grocery shopping through Prime Now.
Get the Amex amazon business prime card if you care about 5/24 or getting there in the near future. Same 5% cash back on Amazon / Whole Foods in addition to AWS. The chase card does have promos from time to time
Just to confirm, it’s the approval date. However, chase usually has a leniency period of few days (100-105 days total) from various reports
Still seeing some 60k biz one way from South America to Newark in December. Just much less than before
I did a bit of searching last night and was still seeing plenty of 30k after the November effective date for the change. Plus I think their partner redemptions should be unaffected so Lufthansa and the likes might be a more appealing option
Applied for another Ink Preferred last week and got a letter yesterday asking for proof of legal name of my business. Since it doesn’t actually exist, assuming I’m screwed here? Browsing reddit, seems like people are calling the recon line but I figure they’ll ask for similar documents if I call them.
What did you say the name of your business was? It should be your real name if you did a sole proprietorship.
crossposting from the travel thread: My rental vehicle was broken into (and hundreds of dollars of personal items stolen). Should I file claim with Chase Sapphire Reserve, since I have that benefit or with my existing auto insurance?
Auto insurance doesn’t cover personal items. Your homeowners or renters policy covers personal items.
I signed up for a Citi AA platinum card over the weekend for 60k bonus miles for spending 3k in 3 months. Just got an email for the same card but offering 65k miles for spending 4k in 4 months. Is it possible to get citi to apply the 65k promo to the card I just signed up for? Would of been fucking nice if they sent that days ago....
I followed this advice and it was the easiest thing in the world. Just be nice in the online chat and they will get it done within a couple minutes.
Via reddit 2 hours ago: Citi chat now saying they need a targeted solicited offer to be able to match AA 75k bonus lmao if poor lfriend missed a 3-year scam by 2 hours
If I start a new business with two partners and I already have a CIP for a separate business, can I refer myself and the two partners so that each of us get our own separate CIPs, each get the sign-up bonus, and I get three referral bonuses for all three cards?
comrade static TAS I mean for rental vehicle damages Avis is going to ding me with (e.g. towing, impound, etc) not personal items. I'm already separating those out onto my insurance.
Definitely file a claim for any damage or towing charges, you should be able to get that taken care of and keeping it off your own personal insurance would be advantageous. Just be aware that Card Benefit Services will ask for a shit load of documentation and won't necessarily be in a rush to bring your case to completion.
I need to buy a new phone. Is the best card to use the amex platinum for purchase protection and then do monthly phone bill on Chase Ink for the insurance? Just wanted to make sure I'm not missing a better deal. As reference I also have Amex blue business, Freedom, Reserve, IHG, a citi AA personal, and a Citi AA business.
FWIW, Amex offers Purchase Protection for upto 120 days now, in line with Chase & Citi. Except if you live in NY State, it may be 90 days for one or more of those 3. If you care about Extended Warranty, Citi is the way to go. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/credit-card-benefits-extended-warranty-protection-review/
I'm doing this right now on my first card but the business is just my freelance legal work so they want me to send proof of my home address I guess Called the recon line and they told me to just fax the information they ask for in the letter
