He was fine in dramatic moments. That brand of socially awkward stuttering "humor" doesn't do it for me though
I don’t know much about their issues so it did bother me but could their reputation of being problematic have made it more difficult for you to accept?
4/10; Miller should've been shitcanned long before his weirdo stuff came out. Boring actor that doesn't bring the chatter to life and that's a shame. The movie's trying too hard to tie in other stuff and create a multiverse and it felt forced.
Just like every other fucking thing in that universe. It sucks, and I've been said I absolutely fucking hate Miller as the Flash. Dude sucks
Finally got around to watching Shazam 2. It was entertaining but nothing memorable. Shazam seems it would benefit more from being an 8-10 episode series than a movie.
I’m not a big Flash or Supergirl fan but I’m a huge Batman fan so I’m wanting to see it for that which apparently is awesome. I’ll probably enjoy it because I don’t know anything much about the Flash paradox and all of that from the comics.
I thought I better correct myself - I just remembered I wasn't dumb enough to see Morbius at the movies.
Late I know but just watched Black Adam. Wasn't as terrible as I thought. The demon guy at the end was cool. Best part of the movie was Dr Fate and Hawkman. And they killed Fate. Overall it just seems disjointed. The Comedy really didn't work at all tho. I'd imagine all three influence the Rock had probably didn't help
If I had to bet money right now, I’d say Corenswet as Superman and Mackey as Lois. Hoult isn’t playing Superman but he does have a role.
I thought The Flash was a very fun movie. Some clunkiness in the cgi in the time travel sequences, and I thought the whole baby sequence was stupid at the beginning but I thought it was super fun.
Hoult seems more like a Lex type if they are even doing Lex. I don't see him as Superman. Mackey would be a good Lois. Rachel Brosnahan would too but she might be a bit too old.
I loved the Hoult casting as Beast in the X-Men Origins trilogy...and his role in The Great has only made me love him more. He can do no wrong, as far as I'm concerned.
The only thing I knew about Black Adam and Dr Fate were they were 2 of my favorite characters in the Injustice 2 video game. Black Adam pretty much stayed as an S tier the entire run.
Flash - 7/10. Thought Ezra did a pretty good job , sucks he's a nutjob. Keaton killed it. CGi was terrible at times.
It really was. All I can figure is the studio basically said "finish the movie with the budget available. You will receive zero extra dollars." And with so many reshoots and things, they just didn't have the cash to spend. Warner Bros is insanely cash strapped right now. They needed this movie to be a hit in spite of its struggles, and it is not happening.
Hopefully with the upcoming films their cgi gets much better. Most DC films have struggled with terrible cgi.
The director has claimed the CGI is a stylistic choice. Believe him or don’t. As it was going I basically convinced myself it was on purpose so I could move past it. Worked for me.
Anyone watched Doom that came to Gotham yet? Probably going to watch it today. I’m a huge Lovecraft fan. Currently re-reading all of his stories so I’m pretty pumped to add Batman into them.
I’m usually pretty meh with the Eververse stuff. I like them but pretty excited since this deals in one of my favorite fantasy/horror universes.
I think I liked Gaslight better. No regrets watching this last one. Much preferable over the battle of the super sons or legion of superheroes.
Where are you seeing this? All I've seen is Corenswet and Mackey tested together and got it. Unless you got the scoopz? Also one of the Skarsgard brothers might be our Lex.
