Well..he's got the hair and I think the eye makeup, but no lips just yet. Spoiler: a test shot, taking a page out of one of the best Batman stories...
Batman vs. Robin has dropped online. You can watch it at most of the streaming sites out there. I thought it was just ok.
If the rumors are true he will be locked up for most of the movie like in TDKR so that's why no make up. He escapes and sets up a stand alone Batman movie? Or it could just be they haven't done his make up yet.
Damn it man Wonder Woman' Movie Loses Director Michelle MacLaren (Exclusive) http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/wonder-woman-movie-loses-director-788500
BATMAN V SUPERMAN Trailer Preview Coming This Thursday Ahead of Theatrical Debut It looks like we’ll be able to see the Batman v Superman trailer sooner than we thought. We previously told you that the first trailer for Zack Snyder’s superhero follow-up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would be attached to Mad Max: Fury Road, but at the time we cautioned that Warner Bros. could decide to debut it sooner than May 15th. The early debut looks to be happening, as Latino Review’s El Mayimbe is reporting that the first five seconds of the trailer will be released online this Thursday, after which you’ll be able to sign up to watch the full trailer in a theater on Monday, April 20th. We can separately confirm Mayimbe’s story—in fact, Steve was in the middle of writing up this exact same scoop when Mayimbe broke the news. Image via Warner Bros. Mayimbe also says that theBatman v Superman trailer will be attached to Avengers: Age ofUltron. We can’t confirm that part of the story, but it makes sense for Warner Bros. to want to get the trailer in front of as many eyes as possible. Snyder will be unveiling the trailer preview on his Twitter account at 9am PST—an hour before the start of the big Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel at Star Wars Celebration. Sit on that for a second: the first footage from Batman v Superman will be unveiled an hour before new footage from Star Wars: Episode VII. We’ve got some big, big movies on the horizon people. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy, and Jason Momoa and opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
Steven Weintraub @colliderfrosty · 28m28 minutes ago hearing the BATMAN V SUPERMAN trailer is about 2 min 30 seconds. Cannot wait to see this. Loved MAN OF STEEL. So excited for BvS
Just days after losing a director for Wonder Woman, Warners has quickly found another filmmaker to pick up the reins on the high-profile project. Patty Jenkins, who at one point was to direct Thor 2 for rival Marvel Studios, has closed a deal to helm Warner Bros.' female superhero movie. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/wonder-woman-movie-finds-a-789099
ZackSnyder @ZackSnyder · 43m43 minutes ago Confirmed 4.20.15 #BatmanvSuperman @IMAX special teaser screening events. Limited space. RSVP http://www.batmanvsupermandawnofjustice.com/imax/
It's a teaser for a teaser, which is apparently a thing now. Honestly, I'm as big of a Batman fanboy as you're going to find, but even I'm not going to drive down to my local IMAX just to see a two minute teaser. There's not even a movie releasing this weekend that a fan of Batman v. Superman would stay to watch. Paul Blart 2? Give me a fucking break. It's a stupid idea in general, but they could have at least done it the Thursday or Friday Furious 7 dropped. Get over yourself, Snyder.
I don't think it going to be attached to any US movie this weekend or next until the Avengers drops. They are only showing it overseas with the avengers when it opens next week.
It's not attached to anything. They scheduled an IMAX "event" for Monday night. You seriously just go watch the two minute teaser and leave. That's it. My point was, if you are going to do an "event" like this, at least do it when there is a film being released fans of BvS would want to stay and watch at the theater. Also, when it is attached to a film, it's going to be Mad Max. Disney isn't going to allow a WB DC trailer to be shown with one of their two tentpole films of the year.
That batman suit.. They finally did it. They finally made a comics-style Batman suit. Spoiler then they went and put Ben Affleck in it
To be fair he was far from the worst thing about DareDevil. I just hope I can see him as Batman, and not as "Ben Affleck in a Batman suit." Christian Bale BECAME Batman. Michael Keaton BECAME Batman. Shoot, even Val Kilmer slipped into the role. George Clooney was just George Clooney.
so they show the costumes which we've already seen a million times, add some dramatic music in about 10 seconds and thats supposed to be good enough?
It does let me reply on mobile but here is the trailer list for Brazil. Also the UK already gave trailer a rating, I wonder why.
I gain optimism for this film the more I see of it. I'm fully on board with Batfleck now, by the way.
I think it's a bad move to be releasing the trailer April 20. They should have waited to release something later on. The film doesn't release for another year.
so Snyder is trying for another variation of the Watchmen? (but I am one of the few people who liked his version of Watchmen)
Yep. And I think it was really good, as far as teasers go. It didn't reveal the overall plot of the film, but did do a solid job of showing what the "tone" of the film will eventually be. The teaser basically gave us a prologue of the mood of the DCCU toward Superman when the film begins, which is fitting for something this far out. It also makes perfect sense, since it was Clark's people who caused all the damage and how many people must have died while he was fighting Zod. I'm interested in how Wonder Woman will fit into this film. If all the reports are true, she emerged during WWII and a lot of her stand alone film will take place in that time period. I'm not sure why people are so freaked out by the appearance of Superman if metahumans had existed for 70 years already. Maybe the goverment buried everything about her and she went back to Themyscira until the appearance of Superman brought her back to the "real" world? It really seems like they are using Superman as a catalyst for metahumans to step out from the shadows and reveal themselves as more than urban legend.
