I’m sure everything is fine
Ohhhh baby Titan Up
Watson has a no-trade clause too right?
Houston just needs the leadership qualities of a veteran player. And who is more veteran than tom brady?
#New York Jets what say you
Any speculation on what the price for him would be? Too bad for suitors that O’Brien is no longer with the organization.
Feel like Texans kinda set a precedent with the Hopkins trade
Give shit away?
Watson to jets and Lawrence to jags, bury them both in obscurity
That’s the same thing.
I had Texans 1H ML and this still triggers me to the day
And despite my criticisms, I will allow Watson to be traded to the Bears
Truly amazing how badly they botched having a franchise QB and an elite WR
They have completely ruined the franchise. Essentially, the only way out is to trade their generational QB because they have made THAT MANY horrible decisions to lead to this point.
You let BOB do the following:
You trade away a top 3 NFL WR for a 2nd and 4th and DAVID JOHNSON. Hopkins had 3 years left on his contract.
You trade away two 1sts and a 2nd for Laremy Tunsil.
You trade away Clowney for a 3rd round pick.
You already mortgaged your future with Hopkins, which was a rare great trade for both teams. But that was the former GM Rick Smith.
You fire BOB 4 games into the season after Hopkins trade.
Imagine losing the future of your organization because you want to let a creepy evangelical guy make all your decisions.
On one hand, the going rate for Jamaal Adams was 2 first rounders, so Watson for 3 first rounders (while reserving one for 2022) seems like a no brainer
On the other hand, if Justin Fields proves to be who he was against Clemson, NYJ would be trading that guy and two firsts for Watson, with less resources to surround him with a supporting cast
If he wants out in Houston I don’t think he’ll be thrilled to become a Jet
unless he means it’s gone from “I’ll take the job but prefer the other openings” to “lol no I’ll see what’s open next year.” Because I’d agree
Jets also have like 75+ mil in cap space
I’m trying to think of a similar fuck up by another team.
That's really just the cherry on top. The Texans would be dead with Watson anyways because of our insane trades. We don't have a 1st round pick for god knows how many years.
Can he be traded to the NFC? Seems like AFC has all the good young QBs and jags/Jets/Dolphins have the first 3 picks.
stop the count!
Get him to the Rams, I know it’s impossible but one can hope
As a Falcons fan I find this very impressive
they will 100% trade him to an afc team. They’re incompetent enough that they’ll probably trade him to the Titans
Fans of AFC south teams rejoice
#South Carolina Gamecocks anyone have any info on wannabe Osteens time with yalls basketball program?
Tannehill may be the only returning QB
Deshaun was probably Urban’s top target of all time when he was at Ohio State.
I know Trevor is Trevor, but what about the Jags trading 1.1 to give Urban a veteran(25 yr old) QB instead of a rookie... not sure what else is going to be in that trade.
If he’s got a no-trade clause that should rule out Chicago, unless he’s got early CTE.
Not surprising the former gamecock is sabotaging Deshaun. Shameful really
Jack Easterby got his start working for your basketball program doing dumb motivation stuff
i have no idea who this dude is but the homeboard types say he’s good christian man who rose from relative obscurity and turned out to be sort of an asshole once he got some shine
shouldn’t be uncharted territory for watson
No surprise. Everything that comes out of our AD is toxic.
bob Mcnair rolling over in his fireproof grave
while I have no desire to see him traded to Jacksonville, it would be interesting to see it. But I’m sure he’s more than happy with their slotted pick.
What in the fucking god damn hell are you talking about?
Bob is probably still smarter than Cal, even dead.
They have the 1.1, rams 1st, #33, #45, #65, their 4th and the rams 4th in this year's draft
