Dexter returning for 10 episodes

it’s better than I expected. I’d have to do a rewatch of the original because I might be wrong but I believe it goes against some of the established canon of the original.

 

How do you and Boo MFer! feel about the intro music?

I’m like 15 min in and I’m already in. Great cast and a young James Doakes hasn’t even been introduced yet.

I think Molly Brown is the real Deb and Jennifer Carpenter was miscast

 

my guy I was joking about the height difference and the growth spurt. I think the whole cast did a good job portraying who they were supposed to be. Only one who I thought actually resembled the older actor was Batista.

 

I’m not even going to mention the blatant racism of casting a Cuban woman in a role that was originally a Puerto Rican woman but I guess they all look alike to Boo

I was but I didn’t want boo to feel bad about his unrecognized racism. He obviously thinks Japanese and Korean look alike as well Puerto Ricans and Cubans look alike. Why else would he only mention Deb’s appearance It’s frankly sickening in 2025 to have such blatant hate in your heart but what do we expect from Florida man in trumps America.

New Deb may not look like Deb but she acts just like I’d expect young Deb to act.

 

Show is great but fucking lol @ the scene where child Brian goes psycho and punches through the glass and beats Harry’s ass.
