I thought this too
esp 2nd 30 minutes
I had pretty low expectations, but this has been pretty good so far
Dexter coming back has made me realize having to maintain all these streaming services is balls
I'm loving this season, kinda worried it'll end after 10 episodes or be some lame spinoff with Harrison.
Anyone else think maybe Harrison killed Hannah?
What did she mean by the last line
she wants him to do his forensics magic?
Yeah, pretty much. Needs his help on the case/Iris.
not reading thread to avoid spoilers- is this worth watching? I loved OG dexter and am still mad at the original ending.
Yeah it’s solid
Big fan tbh, Michael C. Hall as Dexter is just the best, it's a new location, but it's really settled into that old school Dexter vibe and the last 3 episodes have just gotten better each week.
It's really good. My only fear is that they extend it to multiple seasons and stretch it out and it sucks again... just like the OG
Just started Ep 1. LFG
That was a really good (quasi) pilot. I'm in.
Yup, I had low expectations and it’s exceeded it in every way
So apparently only the first episode in available on Amazon Prime? What stupid fucking streaming service do I need to watch this?
Just get Showtime through Prime
Last 2 episodes have been really good
Was Kurt saying he knows Dexter killed his son because he found the surgical screw in the fire pit at his house? I didn’t really get what he was saying about the ashes on the coat or whatever.
Just caught up and am enjoying this. Wondering how the billionaire guy plays into this. I’m assuming he’ll come back up at some point.
Oh yeah I kind of forgot about that guy
At one point Sunday night I was wondering if I was misremembering and it’s been Kurt Caldwell the whole time
Three episodes in, still lovin it.
Given their divorce, I imagine Deb is loving her role of just shitting on everything Dexter does. Have lol'd a few times at her comments.
Lol I had no idea they were married. Also our boy Dexter has been married 3 times in 18 years. Serial killer and serial matrimony.
"So here's the pitch: youre a ghost and dont interact with anybody except Michal C Hall. Your only purpose is to second-guess and demean everything he does, including trying to establish a relationship with his son. There will be some physical assault, too."
Bet she couldn't say yes fast enough.
Just finished ep 4 -- best yet imo
Def knew the senator was the other killer
Didn't know they were married. TMB is entertaining and educational.
Pretty sure he cheated on his wife with deb and then cheated on deb from what I remember reading
Believe he went to the furnace that sprayed ashes all over town and found the screws there. NOT at dexters fire pit.
Kind of far fetched he thought to go to the furnace while drunkenly realizing it wasn’t snowing after Dexter dropped him off that night.
Also, I binged the first 6 episodes and didn’t realize these are released weekly. Very sad.
It’s makes the scaries after the SNF game way better tho, something to look forward to
That night was the first time they showed him saying that Matt's alive. I'm sure he told ppl in the bar too. I believe the lies about Matt being alive were to keep Angela away from the cave.
Definitely wish we had Doakes as the voice in his head instead of Deb.
it was a wasted opportunity for “ hello there Dexter Morgan”.
For some reason I thought I read it was in Alaska.
read the plan is to end it after 1 season that it all gets neatly tied up in the end.
Jamie Chung is incredibly attractive. Opinion on that hasn’t changed since she was on the Real World.
Batting cage shit was kinda random and weird, but that was a solid episode.
It seems pretty obvious we are gonna get a Harrison spin off. This kid is no Michael C. Hall. No thanks.
Thought he was going to move the machine to hit Harrison in the head and knock him out or something.
Why did Dex just let slow ass Kurt run away?
Don’t think he wanted to be impulsive with Harrison around and hes in Kurts territory, doesn’t have the upper hand
I mentioned it in here before I think but he’s like a clone of the actor from bates motel and I’ve seen more than enough of that
Really enjoying the season tho
Same. Hoping they can stick the landing with a decent finale and we can all pretend the lumberjack ending never happened.
How many episodes are we getting?
10 total iirc.
Finally caught up this morning since I was on vacation. Damn, I have no clue how this show going to end now. Honestly hoping they haven't committed to a s2 yet it might imply spoilers. I know ratings are great and the show is fantastic. MOAR!!
Dex has totally redeemed itself after that abortion of a final season. Only way to improve is to incorporate Batista into the investigation.
