BetMGM gave me a voucher to the NBA store that I used to buy a Kurt Rambis jersey. I've only worn it at a july 4th picnic and 80s themed work party. Fun conversation starter.
I used to not anymore. I think it’s certain communities it’s not a big deal or frown upon. I do think it’s weird that some on here think wearing jerseys is something to be ashamed of
I wore my Braves Hank Aaron City Connect jersey a few times before we moved, kind of scared to now (out of embarrassment).
I was at the Chiefs game in the Georgia Dome during the falcons super bowl run, the one where Berry had like a pick six, an intercepted two-point conversion, and some other stupid statistic. He damn near single-handedly won them that game.
Last time I wore a jersey was a Hakeem Nicks giants jersey for Super Bowl 46 I think I was like 21 or something maybe
Agreed. if you’re too cool to wear a jersey to an event, you likely care too much about what other fellow fans think about how you dress the folks that wear them in their regularly daily rotation to the grocery store or whatever crack me up though. If they were more comfortable I might consider it
old school jerseys used to be cool to wear. I’d wear them with Tims and jeans on the regular. Idk if that’s still cool.
I wear soccer jerseys fairly often. Retro basketball jerseys for the pool/lake but never anywhere else.
I have a Bob Griese throwback aqua/teal jersey that I wear to games and sometimes just random game days.
I have one bball jersey and I told my wife last year I was going to bring it going to Florida for a week. “How old are you!?”
Wearing a baseball jersey over a hoodie to a playoff game or important late season matchup is the pinnacle of men’s fashion. It just doesn’t get any better.
I have no explanation why but I feel like baseball jerseys are by far the most acceptable jersey to wear in public (And I'm not even really a big baseball guy)
A generic pinstripe padres home jersey that I wear to games. Can’t imagine a football or basketball jersey.
Haven’t worn a jersey in a long time. Most of them I bought/wore in high school. I have a nice little collection of them though. I allegedly got drunk and created a custom Ronnie Brown Auburn jersey. Don’t remember doing it or buying it. Never even put it on. War Eagle I guess? White and aqua Zach Thomas dolphins jersey Red and yellow Arsenal jerseys Ronnie Brown Dolphins Larry Fitz Cards Quinten Jammer Chargers (no idea why) Byron Leftwich Jags Muhsin Muhammad Panthers JJ Redick Duke A sick Duke hockey Noel Devine WVU Pat White WVU Steve Slaton WVU Robert Sands WVU Vince Young Texas Chipper Jones Jason Heyward Braves Sidney Crosby Pens I think that’s all.
When I go to Lakers games I wear a Sasha Vujacic jersey which usually gets some laughs and almost as many compliments as my clean bracelets I sport.
It’s easily soccer, given they are more shaped like typical shirts. Football is easily the worst. I also have a strong hatred for people that wear basketball jerseys over a dress shirt if they attend a game straight from the office (common at Raptors games, for example).
Soccer shirts while playing soccer, padel, + occasionally at the gym, and while hiking. Hockey sweaters when playing pond hockey. I don’t own one anymore, but baseball jerseys make for decent lounge wear unbuttoned while at a summer house/cottage.
I had a Bucs and Marlins jersey when I was a kid, but never wore them because I didn't like how they fit, plus it always felt so hot in them. I still feel the same way, and then add in that players so often leave that it's tough to commit $100 to one that might bolt or turn out to suck. I still see way too many Josh Freeman jerseys at Bucs games. A this point, I'd at least consider a Mike Evans or Lavonte David jersey. Would lean Lavonte since he's underappreciated nationally and his last name is my (irl) first name.
I have a Mahomes knockoff that I'll wear occasionally, but that's about it. I used to wear SKC and USMNT jerseys occasionally but I'm too fat for them now. I do have a collection of various Royals and KU jerseys too but those are mostly just as memorabilia that I want to possibly get framed or something someday.
Wife got my son and I matching WVU jerseys for our first Xmas with him (he's now 4). I'm ashamed every time I wear it due to bad football being played
Probably try to dig out the ol Nuggets 55 jersey from 5th grade today. Little tight but the sentiment matters
have a couple Arsenal jerseys with no names on the back. wear them when I watch Arsenal at home; don't know if I would ever wear them outside the house.
For those of you who wear basketball jerseys to the beach/lake, do you also wear regular tank tops, or are basketball jerseys the only tank tops you wear? This question is completely without judgement. Just something that crossed my mind.
Since you listed them all: Gretzky Blues Jordan Walker STL Cards Brock Bowers UGA Moses Malone Spirits of St Louis Dominique Hawks Dominique All-Star Trae Hawks x 3 Dejounte Hawks Okongwu Hawks John Collins Hawks x 3 Mutombo Hawks Jordan UNC
my second grade son and all his friends all wear NFL jerseys all the time. My son's current rotation is Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson, Devonta Smith (he has college and pro for him), and Eddie Lacey. His birthday/Christmas is coming up so we will probably load him up again. As you can see they are great to get as hand-me-downs. My wife is always on the lookout on our local facebook trading sites for old jerseys so you don't have to break the bank for brand new ones. That's how you end up with a Lacey jersey in the mix. but my son likes the Packers so he doesn't care. as an adult, no of course I don't wear them. But it's cute seeing all the little boys run around in them in the neighborhood. Our neighbor got a Bryce Young Panthers jersey last year and was really cool shit. that one aged well!
