I've said it on here many times. My jobs have obliterated my caring about pretense or nonsense. It's filler. Luckily my friend groups are in the same boat. None of us have the privilege to just go to work and not think about the politics as separate as it's explicitly linked to it all and hurting people. I understand this is unique. I've accepted it's made me abrasive to some. If you want kid gloves discussions that's not me and that's fine. If you want to be completely on front street I'm here.

I’d also like a list of “prominent” posters that don’t post here. Also, what the fuck does that even mean? Whether or not one thinks a poster is prominent is heavily dependent on the threads you participate in. I’m sure there are many posters that post a lot that I don’t know of because they post in threads I don’t and I’m sure most posters have no fucking clue who I am. Which is cool.
The fact that this is an accepted opinion is precisely the problem around here. Back in the Covid thread a few months ago, the DetroitNole poster who mentioned he was considering voting for someone besides Biden and was basically told to kill himself; to fuck off, and was attacked non stop by the group of Alt Left posters who considered that a vote for Trump. Shit like that happens all the time. In 99% of the instances, it has zero to do with white nationalism, yet people like you can’t understand that. People complain here regularly about the “civility police” as they are told to stop hurling insults, attacks, and shit like that on people who may not hold the same viewpoint. This place used to be great for holding conversations with people we disagreed with. In a lot of cases that isn’t tolerated by the group here. People laugh and claim “what groupthink/echo chamber?” And then in threads if someone disagrees, you see posters calling for mods to remove the poster who doesn’t agree.
