I placed an order then cancelled for a refund when I found one. Lots of people posted about getting refunded even if they didn’t purchase when orders arrived because they were selling right away anyway.
Every review says Hyundai crushed it. Their platform sounds great. Pretty good damn deal and might get me into one way sooner than I expected.
For F-150 Lightning reservation holders. My buddy works at a Ford dealership and let me know he got an email last week from his manager that said Ford is considering cancelling all reservations and just releasing the vehicles like any car just shipping them to the dealers and it being first come first serve.
It's a really impressive and affordable vehicle. Charging time is licketysplit quick Not canceling my ID.4 reservation or anything, but I'd consider this as maybe the second EV if the wife wants to replace her Lexus anytime soon
That fast charging is also only available at Hyundai specific EV chargers that currently only exist in South Korea

Can we get more of this? Is it just b/c electric is faster....but who really gives a fuck about a top speed of 160 and a 0-6 in 2s??? That's neat and all, but 95% of drivers probably don't care and would be more than happy with something with relatively quicker pick up... Also, are Tesla's just way more efficient/aerodynamic?? Seems most have similar battery size, but pretty massive difference in range. Lastly, ioniq-6 and 7 both look really sick. The 5 is ok, but really pumped to see the 6/7
That would be an absolute disaster. When you made a reservation, did you commit on a price? Could see a company doing this and a mass release as a way to increase price
No, guy is a piece of shit...which I've stated repeatedly. Tesla did exactly what I told you every car company does. This is an "SUV" just like Tesla's is classified as an SUV. Glad we settled on you being wrong as you've moved on to straight up lie about my views of him.
You're really really weird about this subject. I don't care what company is doing it, calling something like that an SUV is laughable.
People who will never actually drive above 115 or need to take off that fast. This I chalk up to having experience in battery and software that is ahead of legacy automakers. Also that their focus has always been EV they built for it. Other manufacturers are adapting and have old habits. Features look great. Not excited about the silhouette of an early 00s Need 4 Speed Hatch.
I literally just said the Hyundai is a hatchback too. You're such a Tesla fanboy that you took it personally when I said the Tesla was a hatchback. That's hilarious.
This is literally bigger in every area than my Subaru Crosstrek was and measures out nearly as big as an Outback.
Bc nobody was dumb enough to argue against it when I said Ford and Hyundai were hatchbacks. We're only here bc you took offense to me saying it about Tesla.
No, I told you everyone does it, which Ford and Hyundai and literally every other car manufacture does it. It's literally a SUV by industry standards. You got mad b/c Tesla did it when literally everyone else does
I never said Tesla was the only one to do it. I've said over and over that it's dumb for any of them to do it. You only got mad bc it was Tesla. I've said the exact same thing about Ford and Hyundai yet you're still mad that I said it about Tesla. Thats hilarious to me.
No one is mad about Tesla, it's the fact you only did it for Tesla for pages and pages yet now you're all "it's dumb everyone does it".
I only did it for Tesla in the Tesla thread? And technically I didn't do it for just Tesla. I said the same thing when the Ford and Hyundai were posted. It just didn't go on for pages bc there was a Ford or Hyundai homer arguing for it. I said at the time it was dumb for any of them to do it. You just refused to grasp that bc you had to defend Tesla's honor.
I’m not really following this whole stupid argument, but I think that the Jeep guy is a bit out of his element ITT.
We looked really hard at the Rivian. That would have been my new car if Jeep didn't do the 392 Wrangler. Wife will get a new SUV in the next year or so and it'll be a Rivian or the 4xe Grand Cherokee.
One of the worst American themes is investing all of our resources into overbuilding and overstocking in preparation for something that *might* happen once but probably won’t. Weapons for tyranny that isn’t real, extra square footage in our homes that we enter once a month for 20 minutes, massive vehicles that spend 98% of their life hauling around a single person and no cargo.
Totally and there’s nothing I’ve seen other than that post that’s talked about it changing. Ford is doing this the same way they did Bronco & Maverick release.
Hope Hyundai floods the market with these cool Ioniq 5s and gets a lot of people ahead of me in line for an ID.4 to cancel their reservations and switch over so I can get my VW a few months sooner
Man I really don’t like the Mustang Mach-E. And since nobody asked I also want y’all to know I hate the Maverick. I don’t like the way that truck looks. Id really like a gmc body with ford interior.
