Stanford was the first to get it. Alabama installs 'state-of-the-art' field, SubAir system at Bryant-Denny Stadium
It's smart for everyone. Nebraska will be announcing a big project soon, october-ish, and is also dropping capacity. Likely changing from benches to seat backs with the larger renovation. People just don't go to games like they used to, especially when the teams been ass.
Not all schools are lucky enough to have the premier athletic programs of Kansas State. Please respect those of us that can’t compete with a university having some of the greatest fans in the country.
Our new facility is almost done, a victim of heavy delays. They should have the main football player areas done by the first home game but all the bells and whistles are still being worked on.
There are two full size grass ones next to that and then in the upper right there's a full sized indoor one. I think this one was for more situational type stuff? Idk
I thought at one point one of the renderings showed the doors by the half turf field would open up so guys could go from the weight room to that area. Rhule probably saw the kicking stats under Frost and requested they have their own area to be used 24/7
They are, they're like giant garage doors that will open to the outside from the weight room. I guess that makes the half field make more sense.
yes, it looks odd but it’s directly next to 2 full sized grass fields and a full, indoor field. there is another full, indoor field to the left of that also, but that went to the student population when they built the other one. technically there is 6.5 fields in that area. (It still kind of looks dumb, and out of place, but as mentioned above, situational shit)
Thank you Dump, but our jizz jars are in another castle. (they milk the cows on east campus, the ag sector)
Hey all I ask is that you put some respectable troughs or shitters in an actual indoor facility of some capacity, taking a piss in a porta shitter underneath the stadium is clown shoes shit and crazy to comprehend in 2023
having said that, looked at A&M facilities and I fail to see where yours are any better?? It’s a 200 million dollar facility next to our other facility that’s next to Nebraska’s other facility. Nebraska has always been on cutting edge of facilities. It’s part of the reason we dominated the 80’s and 90’s, now that advantage is gone because everybody has one. Locker rooms are all close to the same now (our **outdated one also had this kind of shit). Truly doesn’t matter how good both our teams facilities are because both are teams suck, but only one of us sucks while having a $100 million dollar coach on the hook. At least we have hope.
