I think the reality is GM knew we were stuck with Ryan. Take the best player available, team tanks for 1-2 seasons, hope you land your franchise qb in one of those drafts.

 

if it makes you guys feel any better I expect the Eagles DL to be elite this year. 2 deep across the board with good to great players.

did not expect the game to be that lopsided but I think the Eagles holding the Falcons to FGs in the first half shaped the game.

I was all for taking Pitts before I knew Julio was already out of the building. We just replaced a generational talent with a rookie tight end and if he is anything less than a hall of famer he will be deemed a disappointment.

 

If this is all the same at the end of the year I 100% agree with you. But we've had one NFL game, hard to judge rookies so harshly for me

 

Picking Pitts is an even bigger waste if we cant get him the ball.
