I was more talking about this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Watchers_(film) doesn't seem like he funded it, although I may be wrong.
Trap was dumb and I loved it, Josh harnett was trash but it was delightful. We went as a group and everyone had very different opinions on it but came to the conclusion that's what his movies at least do, strike up weird conversations and make you think.
Their fucking lethal weakness is the substance that covers 71% of the Earth and they only encounter that for the first time at a farmhouse? Too dumb to comprehend.
you're missing the point of the rest of the movie but if you wanna stick on that talking point, how would an alien know something is their weakness if they've never encountered it? maybe this was the first wave of their kind sent out to test just that? the movie is not about them, it's about faith/loss of faith
Yeah, it's pretty bad, especially the last third. Maybe not as bad as sitting through an Astros game at the moment
probably a good thing imo...Meyers was heading down a slippery problematic slope around that time with some of his characters culminating in that shit-heap The Love Guru
But Scott rejected me, c'est la vie. Life is cruel, treats you unfairly. But even so, my god there must be... Mini-me you complete me.
Gonna watch The Osterman Weekend [1983] Looks like a decent BD copy has been released. Haven't seen that shit in forever.
About 80% through it, waiting for my wife to fall asleep to finish it. Loving it so far. Spoiler poor Nick just got ripped in half
He was only in five movies, each one was nominated for best picture. And he was boinking Meryl Streep before he died. True legend
