Lived in Greenville all my life. Graduated in May and am back home. I am wanting to know about some good bars. I am tired of going to Ale, Reys, etc.

 

Nose Dive is pretty solid. Mac's is pretty good depending on what night you go. I haven't been in a while, but On the Rocks and Ford's are both pretty good.

I'm pretty burned out on Rey's. It's like a rape dungeon in that place and kinda depressing.

 

Have heard good things about Fords. Never been to Macs, Nose Dive or On the Rocks. Are they all DT? They finally closed that shit hole that was the g-spot.

 

G spot closed? That place was always packed when I went. It was a dump, but how do you screw up at that location?

 

Continuing sales to minors after they had already been caught. At least, that's what a buddy told me. We used to go there in high school so... Heard the guy is going to try to turn it into a nice steakhouse ala chophouse 47

Fords has a good scene at night, but the food leaves a lot to be desired, IMO. I've actually never been to Mac's at night. But they have a good beer selection and on Tuesday night it's half off pretty much all pints except high gravity. The food that I have gotten from there is pretty decent. Their BBQ isn't anything to get too excited about, but I don't think any BBQ in the upstate is.

All of them are dt.

Macs has a great beer selection, but the scene is quite redneck, and the food is meh.

 

very much so. met these girls at the pool a few weeks back, they said it was a "fun dance club," so we decide to go with them.
took us about 20 minutes to realize we walked into the lion's den.

 

Yea. I've only eaten 2 things from there, and it would be pretty tough for the worst restaurant in the world to mess them up.

Also I guess I have been living under a rock, because I didn't know Greenville has food trucks now.

Looking for a new place in or near downtown. I've tried all the apartment complexes downtown and none seem to have any availability. I'm thinking I'll need to search for condos that are for rent but there's not really a great resource for that.

there's a burger joint downtown on main st next to Soby's. fucking delicious burgers. definately go there for a burger sometime during your stay. watch the game at ale house, it'll be packed, but that's pretty much the go-to spot for watching games.

 

Yeah it's an old mill. i live there now. it's upsetting that i'm in a relationship currently because all of the girls on my floor are fucking hot

 

Will definitely check those out. We ate at twin peaks last night.

The smoke house burger was pretty damn good actually, and i can't complain about shots of cuervo for 2.99. Beer was cheap too. The girls were cute for the most part and their outfits were hotter to me than hooters. Also unlike hooters they will sit at your table and hang out.

 

i will be checking this place out imho

 

I'm betting on the weekends the talent is better than a wed night too

Fords oyster bar is starting to become a good night spot as well. And ale house and twin peaks are the go to spots for game days. I've had this twin peaks girl over after her shift for the past 3 nights /lookatme. Beer, good food, tvs, and easy broads...what more could u ask?

Oh and the lofts really is a single mans heaven to live at...wish I lived there.
