Looks like there will be a little Christmas in July in the Barves2125 household.
Saw’s Soul Kitchen and going out the back door and eating it in Avondale’s outdoor area is the right decision.
This is great TV.
But Voltaggio has always been a dbag.
He’s ok once you figure out that he’s not playing d-bag. He lives the d-bag life.
But this may be the GOAT takeout episode, just based off the dishes. I want all that shit
Idk what I want more
Those chicken and waffles or that polenta with marrow (though I'd eat it on my carhood)
He’s been a dbag since top chef. His brother is the good Voltaggio.
Same. That poutine looks fucking killer
Morgan’s kid is a natural on camera. He should take Hunter’s spot imo.
Watching a pizza GGG competition right now. This fucking twat keeps pronouncing chipotle as “chipolte” and I hope he has a horrific cart/knife injury
One of my biggest pet peeves
Happy Belated to Jules
Jules is cool and all, but he’s no Hunter or Ryder.
Given the backstory, I think I like him better tbqh
What’s the backstory?
son of his dead sister, there was a pretty bad custody battle iirc, because the dad was living in a mobile home and didn't have any income or something like that
I was unaware of this situation. Did Guy and his wife get custody and raise him.
I'm not sure who has custody, Pretty sure the battle was between Jules' grandparents and the father. Guy kinda got entangled by accident when they awarded the dad custody because Jules was on vacation with the Fieri's at the time, Dad didn't want to come get his son for fear of a confrontation. Again this was like 8-10 years ago and I might be way off on this
Yeah that’s the gist. Basically dad was estranged from Jules before Morgan died and wanted custody and support monies after she died.
How do y’all know all this
Because we are Guy’s FUCKING GUYS!!!
Be careful with how you emphasize words if you ever say that out loud.
Didn't know where to drop
Been watching DDD all night. Made me kinda sad not knowing if these places have survived
It's always sad, back when going new places was a thing, and DDD spots were closed.
I’m with you on that thought. I do know there are some fan sites that follow, update, and map out DDD restaurants.
I’m confused as what you mean?
DDD has a great success rate from what I’ve seen. any time I go to a new city I search to see if DDD was there and then i watch the episode. Place is always still open
as opposed to like bar rescue or kitchen nightmares where the places are mostly already beyond repair
Watch DDD, look up place to add to list of places to go, and it ends up being closed already.
Oh. Haven’t experienced that
It's not the norm, but there have been a few.
I often look up the places on triple d as it airs
I read the top right one as "promotes email" and was still like "fuck yea"
Unsure if Goldbelly is going to become huge or not. It might if they get the cost down
Should be saying out of bounds
Clearly a guys guy didn't make that
