Cardinal sin is about as bad a song as I’ve heard all year just from a beat standpoint but everything else on this Boldy tape is incredible. Jay Versace did some wild shit on this
1st half is considerably better than the 2nd imo. Liked Boldy's new but still like Price Of Tea more.
If it weren’t for Cardinal Sin being soo fucking bad I’d probably like TVT more than POTIC. TVT feels like Boldy is walking back and forth between a jazz speakeasy and an 80s piano bar for these songs. This minimalist/jazzy/soulful style of Jays might be what he does idk (such a small sample size) but it works perfectly for Boldy and it feels like Jay was making beats with Boldy in mind. (Much like Uncle Al does). Boldy is a very monotone and literal rapper who a lot of times even forgoes hooks altogether. Proper framing is crucial to his music and for this to be Jay Versace’s first tape I think he knocked it outta the park. Completely agree with the Amine take. I’m really wanting some summer shit rn, loving all the Griselda stuff but I just feel like that music is a Fall/Winter vibe. Amine scratches that itch a bit but that second half of the album is not my cup of tea
I had never actually listened to the deluxe version of circles. Decided to play it today and I gotta say Floating has to be the best send-off song for an artist I've ever heard. Beautiful song
SZA is in te comments dragging punch. I’m starting to think there’s some dumb shit happening with TDE

Kendrick was set to headline like 6 festivals this year. Q said last year he’d drop early this year. SZA is Malding, Zay has been hinting he’s ready for like a year... I’m convinced punch and top aren’t interested in dropping music without touring it
Sucks. They should be pumping out shit like Griselda. Isaiah is a top fucking rapper IMO, Ab hasn’t done anything in awhile. Skiiiwalker is one of the most unique characters out there and only has one real album. Damn shame.
I was super worried about the features but holy shit they were blended into the Nas aesthetic perfectly. Anderson Paak is the best thing on earth
Just noticed a line by ASAP Ferg on spicy that was dope asf. keep the tommy by the belly sincere cuz I’m hype
Kanye wedged Nas into beats that didn't truly fit him. Hit Boy fit the beats around what Nas does best. Nas was in his pocket all album. They did a phenomenal job.
It used to be Aquemeni, ATLiens, Stankonia in that order for me, but the older I get the more I love Stankonia and put it 2
ATLiens has a more consistently good track list but Big and Dre are at their peak on Aquemini. They are so good on that album
