I should’ve said “since the start of the WBC.” I don’t know that all of those guys were in it. Raley I know never actually played a game.
To be fair Diaz had a historically great last year. He is pretty much irreplaceable unless you can trade for a Clase or Doval.
issuing correction on a previous post of mine, regarding the terror group new york mets. you do not, under any circumstances, "gotta hand it to them”
Remember last season the Mets practiced celebrating in Spring Training so he definitely could have been hurt without playing in the WBC. Actually that would have been a much more hilarious injury.
Just got back from my first pitch clock game. I came to relax and enjoy the game, not miss an inning just going to piss
real fans of the game ordered these the moment that rule dropped. let me know if you need any of my stash and if you can wear XS
Athletic did an article on young pitchers and what extensions could look like.. yes please on 6/144... Max Fried, 29 Controlled through 2024 2023 Salary: $13.5 million Fried, basically the only player in Atlanta who isn’t signed through 2030, starts on sturdier footing than either Burnes or Bieber because he’s a Super Two player. Like deGrom mentioned above, Fried earned enough service time to reach arbitration a year earlier than those peers. That’s why he’s making more this year than either Burnes or Bieber, and he’s slated to make more in arbitration before hitting free agency at the same time. (I’d estimate Fried to earn about $32 million over the next two seasons.) He’s pretty close to Bieber in terms of comps, coming in right alongside someone I brought up on Tuesday. PLAYER SIGNED AGES FWAR(1) FWAR(3) FWAR(5) YEARS TOTAL AAV 2022 AAV Matt Cain 2012 27-32 5.0 12.4 20.2 6 127.5 21.3 25.5 Max Fried 2023 29- 5.0 12.4 15.8 Jon Lester 2015 31-36 5.6 11.6 19.1 6 155.0 25.8 29.5 Cain’s deal valued his free-agent years at $27 million in today’s money, Lester’s at more than $29 million. Given that Fried’s a year older than Burnes and Bieber, let’s say Atlanta buys out four free-agent years at $28 million each. Add in the $32 million over the next two years, and you get a deal for six years and $144 million — what Hamels signed a decade ago as he was about to hit the open market.
So YouTube tv raised prices again. I said fuck it and went with Direct tv stream. 15 bucks more but I get the braves and a bunch more channel's for my kids.
NL ROTY favorite Shuster on the mound today. Luckily, I have a very generous coworker that shared his login with me. Do they have a la carte programming packages?
My parents have DTV stream and I kinda hate it. It’ll get the job done, but I don’t at all like the interface
I only got it just to be able to watch the braves. I did end up buying one of their refurbished stream boxes and having the controller with actual numbers to key in channel numbers makes it much easier to navigate. The interface can be real clunky on our cheap in tcl in the bedroom.
DTV Stream just seems clunky and bad. You need a "device" to stream the content (which doesn't make sense). That's $10 a month after the 1st year so it ends up being 72 vs 110. I'm sure this is also a "discounted" contract that you have to hassle and renegotiate each fucking year too.
I have a balley password but it's always kicking me out and having to get a code everytime drove me nuts. I watched was less baseball last year because of it. Not sure on alacart. All the premiums are that was but there are just a few package options. I have one of the new apple tvs and the direct app worked pretty well last night when I tried it.
All I watch are live sports and 2 of my top 3 teams aren't on YouTube. If it's 110 in a year that's fine. My cable/internet bill was insane before I dropped it. 185 is doable until balley dies and MLB offers something else. Also I'm sure needing a device is for non smart tvs.
So almost all of the outfielders we brought in are hitting and there's a bunch of them. Shewmake is apparently a thing. I have no idea what this roster looks like. We keeping 3 catchers?
This thread’s cable/streaming discussions are always a low point for this once illustrious message board. Y’all end up paying 95% of the cost of cable and still get no Braves games and then you come in here to bitch about it and complain like some 70 year old that has no idea how to illegally stream games or use a VPN. Absolute amateur hour year after year. Idiots.
No, I pay for cable like a fucking adult, haven’t missed a game in my lifetime, and can watch games on my tv without buffering, My only complaint is that I still come in here year after year and read this thread
Yes, how dare customers not demand a quality product. I'm sure you used to argue that box scores in the news paper was enough at one point
some of our more grammatically challenged posters would rather cry about not watching than simply paying for cable or finding a login like an adult. it’s a shame
I have access to watch as I please on hacked streams. Asking MLB to create a product suitable for 2023 vs focusing on pitch clocks, player positioning, and juiced balls doesn't seem like a bad request. But continue to be a moron & play your dumbass character ITT
While Stone Cold Steve Austin brags about being able to “afford” cable I need to remind everyone that his trailer park HOA fee covers his dish network subscription
Get cable for the 6 months that Braves play and then cancel it. It’s literally so easy that anyone besides you could do it.
