soon as I saw him wipe his mouth with the napkin he had been using on his eyes and didnt instantly throw it away I knew he was going to fuck around and wipe his eyes with it again
Man, I just can't look at Will the same ever since the slap and all the insane stuff with Jada came out.
"Shane, A lot of your comedy really resonates with internet culture, developing your shit poster style way back at the-mainboard.com, what do you remember about SugarShaun's toddler tiered tastebuds?"
I'm just glad I decided to stay a simple family man instead of being famous as shit bc many have said I'm the brightest star this board has ever seen
ngl i do get a kick out of his early standup being posted here for critique (iirc most thought it was good/funny) and ten years later he’s one of the biggest comics going
He didn’t say much at all seemed like he was hung over and wanted to get out of there as fast as possible
I think it was edited down because it was pretty fucking boring and he didn’t say anything interesting
Glad I read y’all’s reviews first so it lowered my expectations and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be (it was still bad) What’s funny is Conan had just talked about how an interviewer can do things to save or at least mitigate a bad interview but he hates it when an interviewee acknowledges that it’s going poorly. I felt like Shane almost did that when he apologized to Sean.
I feel like Shane spends so much time talking about himself on specials and podcasts that Sean didn’t have the deep questions that he usually does. Also, Shane’s self-deprecating and “edgy” humor didn’t seem to really play so he kinda shut it down. He seemed to struggle a lot with the spice which fucks with people’s ability to actually answer questions.
the only entertaining part of the episode was when he turned it around and asked Sean questions it was a weak performance and he should be a-Shaned
I mean, this is inevitably the issue with interviewing new stars or niche players in an industry. he's not Dice in the 80s, he's a moderately successful comic. he's just not going to be interesting. same reason Ice Spice's episode was garbage. the overwhelming amount of elite episodes from this show come from people with long, storied histories in their work and decades of tales to spin into an answer as Sean deep dives on their history.
while that’s somewhat true, you also don’t need to be an established star to be somewhat interesting he just didn’t try at all
It had been a while since I’ve done it, but we did a lineup yesterday and Da Bomb is still absolutely repulsive
I own Da Bomb. Can confirm. it only gets used by unsuspecting guests that grab it and don’t know it’s lore, and people that think they can handle it.
I tossed my bottle of it in the trash months ago. may have been less than a tablespoon of it used out of the entire bottle and it was just taking up space in my pantry for no reason.
it's battery acid. just a goofy parlor trick hot sauce that only got really famous because of the show.
what a great (and hot!) episode she has been smoke my entire life. maybe i should show my wife this and tell her i hope she looks like this in her 50s i bet that will go over well
What a great idea, maybe you should make a set of wings with hot sauces, film it and just after da bomb you drop this. I would watch that episode.
bought the pack of sauces to do a family hot ones the da bomb alternative they use is nowhere near as bad as real da bomb
im going to grab some from world market they sell it there if people are interested but getting folks to do this again will have to wait until next year
"oh yeah everybody that sauce we all said was the worst tasting and hottest? well this one tastes even worse AND hotter....come back"
I ordered the real one off Amazon to supplement. You’re right especially when you compare the stand in to the real thing side by side it’s a huge difference
