Where do you rank the most prolific college QB in America? Ahead of Trevor?
real low energy bait here
He put up better numbers with the same kind of weapons.
DMX is gonna be real mad when he sees this thread
Mac also isn't MAGA like Trevor
Too low. A team should hire him as coach before the draft. Then fire him and sign him as QB.
he's a modern day ken dorsey but much better than checkdown tua so i probably mid 5th round for me
He's better than Tua, but probably should be a 2nd/3rd round guy.
Could see a team jump into the late 1st to get him just so they can have a 5th year.
Sweet poll, OP
#1 Overall, obviously
If Daniel Jones can be taken in the first then anything is possible. Probably a decent value in the late 2nd round.
Mac is a rich, white kid from jax and goes to bama. He’s maga he just doesn’t talk about it
where’s dblplay1212 at
Gonna be really embarassing when the Falcons take him 4th overall.
If Elway has his way he will get him at 10z
Top 5 of the second round.
he’s not even that good and he’d still probably be better than any of the qbs elway drafted
I voted 1st rd but don't think he will be a "franchise" generational QB. My vote is more accepting that QBs in the draft go sooner than they should
fuckin pats will take him.
It's a QB league. He'll probably be the 5th or 6th taken in the first round.
Mac and Trask talent-wise should be third rounders. Mac will be the fifth QB taken in the first round (guessing Pittsburgh soon as Big Ben’s retirement is official). And Trask will get way overdrafted early/mid second. He’ll never be a full-time starter and best-case be a Chase Daniel. And he’ll unfairly be blasted as another Gator QB to underperform in the league. Even tho he should never have those type of expectations.
He's probably the 8th or 9th best qb available, so that puts him mid 1st round these days
He’s significantly less talented than like every bama QB over the past 15 years and they all fail in the nfl, so probably not
Are we talking where should he get drafted or where will he get drafted?
A better way is probably just rank the QBs on the order which you would take them since GMs are dumb and overdraft shitty QBs all the time.
Mac was fantastic in college. He was in a great system with a lot of talent around him and ran the offense about as well as it can be run. He just had one of the greatest passing seasons for a QB all time.
That said, no way I'm taking him in the 1st. I don't think he has the physical tools to play in that league. He's extremely accurate and has high football IQ so maybe he makes it work but I wouldn't gamble on it that early. Someone probably will though bc QB's just go early.
Is his height really a concern? He's 6'3". If anything, I thought his physique made of unbaked dough would be a bigger knock.
He reminds me of Stephen Garcia but without a Lattimore around.
lol at that 1st pic
taking a stab in the dark here but i think he meant shitty qbs
God damn, no game manager references yet?
He has above average arm talent, is an excellent decision maker, has excellent anticipation and is calm and poised. I think worse QBs have been taken higher than I think he will be which will probably be in the first round.
that first pic isn't really from college, right? incredible change if it is.
I think so? He got a DUI as a Freshman too.
I think he potentially played himself into the first round. It really depends on how many teams are looking for QBs, and how much those teams value mobility at the position. There’s no denying his accuracy at all levels, and his decision making is solid (granted, DSmith made him look smarter than he might be, by grabbing damn near everything).
He absolutely needs an elite OL. He makes Tom Brady look like Lamar Jackson.
I don't believe that 1st pic to be real
Its like they used a knock off version of the super soldier serum
real answer is that i won't be shocked if he's taken in the first because of every nfl team talks themselves into taking qbs way early every year
but i'd run away, his arm strength isn't elite and the windows in the NFL are going to be 1/10th the size of what he was throwing into in college. just going to be a big adjustment period. brings nothing to the offense as a runner which is increasingly important.
Screams 1st round QB
notoriously allergic to the weight room?
Deer antler spray doesn’t always make you shredded, sometimes it just adds bulk
Mac just got the left overs. Prolly the expired batches
Hopefully he didn't sacrifice any flexibility
When you tack on mass, you sacrifice flexibility
