Hes playing like a random good jeopardy player that snuck on here rather than a guy thats never lost to anyone before.
having three elite players really displays the built-in limitations of the game (buzzer speed is too important, daily doubles OP). Brad probably knows the answers to the clues at the same rate as either of them.
That really hasn't been the case. He's gotten more daily doubles than anyone and has gotten virtually all of them wrong
James missing the easy fsu DD really did him in. Brad is also really killing him grabbing all the DDs. With that said, Ken has been incredible
Just watching now but I must say, this 2 person game of Jeopardy between James and Ken sure is fun. Would have been awesome if they invited a third participant (I now will watch patiently as Brad shocks the world)
Ken is both the celebrity I most want to meet and the one I’m most afraid of meeting because I would dork it up. He is to me what Levar Burton was to Troy on Community.
James really choked there on FSUs official colors. Maybe Alex should’ve given him something more his speed like the Air Force Academy’s official colors.
do you think neither of them know FJ for the last question? i actually knew it (or guessed it, at least). obviously it helps that they're recent. also knew FJ for the first game but they all got that. And i got keylogging and BYOD under cybersecurity and was surprised that neither of the three got that. wonder if they're getting tired or if they weren't as focused as KJ had an insurmountable lead after James missed his DD. i missed the first 15 minutes but i was surprised at how many they missed today relative to how many I got. obviously opera categories are super challenging and i would have no idea on them.
Two good reddit comments: "It Comes Third" Who is Brad Rutter? and Maybe there are so many Charlie & The Chocolate Factory questions because just like the book, the winner of this gets to host Jeopardy?!?
Was talking about that a lot during day 1. In my fanfic, ken wins and Alex gives him the mic and exits stage left. but unfortunately, ken’s lisp isn’t sustainable and brad really is the best option to take over the role.
I think the biggest thing is that it would instantly take out half the Jeopardy "names" from possibility. You can't be a teammate/friend of Ken's and then ever come back to play
