i think jedd fisch would do real well there too but doubt hes had enough success to get a job like that and hes also a massive job hopper who will take the first nfl gig offered.
Tbh that's probably the best case with the options. Petrino, addazio, and Durkin are all supreme cunts
no idea why this team tag just sent out a notification, but dude’s offense was outdated before he left fsu outside of 2012-2014 he’s like an 8-4 coach
I hope this gets enough negative media attention to at least put a freeze on how much college football head coaches get paid.
He's 55 so I think he's gonna wanna try for the next tier up soon I think he's a much better coach than Jimbo, which isn't saying a ton
Aggie fans would be more interested in tearing down the minarets and converting the mosque to a mega church before even thinking about the Jimbo statue.
Jimbo will be on yalls payroll for the next 8 years. Thread title should remain the same till hes paid off.
Bjork ought to be more concerned about the imminent volcano eruption in Iceland rather than this nonsense.
The point isn't necessarily that he's rich, but the fact he's building a house that costs > 4x what anything else has traded for in the area means he's someone that is rich and willing to spend obscene money to get what he wants. Every school has rich alumni, they mostly aren't all interested in lighting money on fire so sports do well. For example, to build the house one of the lots he bought was a mansion that was only 10 years old so that he didn't have to bargain with the village over a landswap. (He has an additional lot that is between two parks so he was just going to trade lots. There were strings attached and he said fuck it and bought a 4th house on the lake)
this is dumb. 76 million is still 76 million. No matter how you want to split it up, that's money that could have built another AM program into a sports superpower. It's an elite salary for 10 tenured professors for their entire career. It's a fucking wing of a hospital. Instead its going to buy Jimbo 3 mansions and 10% of the evan williams distillery.
76 million would build, conservatively, build 76 quadplexes homes that you could use to offer subsidized housing to low paid ATM employees for the next century or form an endowment for a charity that could effectively wipe out food insecurity in college station forever. it's an insane waste of money.
