Just reiterating that I would sacrifice most of you to some fake made up god for this woman if she asked. That is all.
New album is such a nice return to what made her great. On first listen, it's not quite Golden Hour level, but it's a really nice listen that I'll play a ton. Heaven Is and Anime Eyes are probably my favorites.
Picked up my Crimson Clover, Target-exclusive record at lunch. Excited to listen later when I get home.
Where does it rank with Star-Crossed? That record had some Golden Hour moments but clearly wasn't as complete.
I got nervous when it started off with Cardinal because I just didn't really like the feel of that one, but she quickly got into a groove and I agree that it's on the same path as Golden Hour
I loved the line in Dinner with Friends where she says "My home state of Texas. The sky there, the horses and dogs. But none of the their laws"
Got a lot going on this weekend so I only got as far as opening the record packaging. Vinyl looks and smells really awesome. Probably won't get a chance to spin it until Sunday night.
Giving it a second run through right now in not nearly as fancy a fashion as you'll be listening. I feel like this album was made for vinyl though. It's so good.
She's legit my #1. Perfect in every way. All time dime, great singer-songwriter, and a bleeding heart lib.
Yeah man, I've got a good little record set up. Playing Kacey on vinyl is quite the entrancing experience. Any of her albums.
And you're going to pay to see it. Standard Admission in Nashville. $240-$500 side lowers $215 club $175 floors $100-150 nose bleeds. Spoiler got the best $100 ticket I could find
Yeah Anime Eyes top 3 for sure. Lonely Millionaire is classic Kacey that I think will continue to grow on me. It’s in the same spiritual vein as Space Cowboy/High Horse/Breadwinner
Just a third listen through on Deeper Well. After what I thought was a 2021 clunker in Star-Crossed, ladies and gentlemen, Kacey Musgraves is….BACK!
