Until they added the 12th game, in order for Ole Miss to win 10 in the regular season, they had to go 2-1 against the combination of Bama/Auburn/LSU AND sweep everything else. That’s a tall order. They went 10-0 in 62, and had a couple 10-1 seasons in the decade before that.

Don’t really know. He seems to like Oxford and we’re about to offer him a huge raise, but he’s still Lane Kiffin. State law only allows for a 4 year contract, so that probably works against us unless we throw in some crazy incentives.

I don’t know the in’s and outs of lanes life but the poster we have on our board that is friends with him says he’s like 9 months sober and took up Orangetheory and yoga which has helped him shed like 30 pounds or so. not saying he didn’t have a couple last night though lol he definitely made it seem like he was looking to get back to FL though at either UF or Miami if the jobs came open. Layla is in the Tampa area so I’m assuming it would be easier for his kids and stuff and apparently they are sort of back together

One of my and Oranjello 's former housemates just donated a million and have several other friends doing similar. I think Ole Miss does what it takes financially to keep him here unless he just wants another job.

Definitely possible. I'm obviously biased but I just don't see why you leave Ole Miss if they're basically giving you a blank check unless it's for UGA/Bama or a school in a major market. LSU and UF are elite level jobs but I'd rather live in Oxford if the money is the same and the expectations are lower.
