Hold up Assassin bugs. I see those around here all the time. I'm shook now. Not safe to even step outside front door anymore.
I've never had nor know anyone that's ever had Pumpkin bread. Also, brine or roast? Don't you do both? "I just chuck my bird in a 5 gallon pail of water with sugar and salt, take it out and eat it".
I make this and it's delicious: 1 cup ground raw cranberries 1 cup ground apples 1/2 cup seedless grapes halved 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1 small can crushed pineapple (drained) 1 cup sugar 1 small package cherry jello 1 cup hot water Mix jello and hot water, then add pineapple first and stir. Add other ingredients and stir. Let set up in the fridge. It's super easy and so much better than the canned nonsense.
Apparently my family goes against the grain for my state. We always have Deviled Eggs, never any of the other appetizers on that list. Have never had Pumpkin bread...it's always rolls. We do always to mashed potatoes so that one's right. Side dish though is always green bean casserole not corn.
wat - make this now https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/spiced-pumpkin-bread-840 Turkey ceviche
why would you choose between corn and green bean casserole, when you can have both? pumpkin pie or pecan pie? yes please. rolls or pumpkin bread? little of both. Is eating like a 500 pound bed-ridden diabetic not a thing on Thanksgiving anymore??? I feel bad for those of you who have to choose. My only choice is if I am eating it in rounds 1, 2, or 3. where is deep fried turkey?
Louisiana artichoke dip and potatoes au gratin Not even in my family, which like most in Louisiana has rice with damn near every meal, do we have rice at Thanksgiving motherfucker you need to die
Green bean casserole is one of the few foods that I have tried during my life time where I genuinely do not like it at all. Most foods I might not love but at worst I am "meh" on them. Green bean casserole is absolutely terrible to me. /hottake
This opinion always makes me laugh. Just means you don't know what a good oyster is or should taste like.
Yeah this was kind of puzzling to me too. Dump, there's a lot of hispanics who celebrate thanksgiving with enchiladas, fajitas, rice etc etc.
We’ve had a Walmart for ~15 years, outside of grabbing alcohol I think I’ve been three times, two of which was while drunk. Team Kroger/Sam’s/Costco
I go to Walmart for my grocery shopping. My tiny ass town has only two grocery stores, the other is a POS Food Lion with less selection and higher prices than Walmart. I'd have to travel for like two hours round trip to get anything better, and fuck making grocery shopping take up like 3-4 hours of a weekend day when I am often working six days a week.
We do choose but not between corn and green bean casserole. We always have a ham as well as a turkey too but I didn't mention that because it wasn't my point. Same thing with multiple pies.
are you under the mistaken impression that Publix is the largest employer in Florida or did you mistake the map as showing the most overrated grocery chain in each state?
