I’m gonna need to do “my own research” on this one
Let us know how it goes after you wear the bloody meat suit into the ocean.
My aunt had a house on the Mississippi river in northern Iowa and we saw a bull shark in the river. At first I was quesitoning how they could be in Missouri/Illinoi, but I'm sure there could be a bite in the river.
Do aquariums count?
Imagine going swimming in fucking Missouri getting attacked by a damn shark.
We'll have to check with Tara Reid to get confirmation
You’d survive because at least 80% of its teeth would be rotted out.
Nelly did have a big ass fish tank on MTV Cribs back in the day.
♫ I've got some oceanfront property in.....New Mexico? ♫
New Hampshire has 17 miles of ocean coastline and not one single shark attack. They must be doing something right.
there is a very tiny sliver of Bosnia that touches the sea between split and Dubrovnik, and I know that because we went through customs when we drove through it and it caused like an hour delay in getting to Dubrovnik
I was just reading about the lil' gap!
Croatia is currently building a bridge that will connect from near Kiek on the map to the peninsula that zips right under Neum. I figured the boundary must have been a result of some negotiations in the 90s, but it's actually from a treaty that was signed in 1699!
And why was I all of a sudden reading about Croatia this weekend?
They just finished putting the bridge together. Now it’s just working on the access points and it’ll be open in a few months.
Strangely enough, Banks, they'll still have to take a ferry to get to the island with the airport!
I do this every time I go to ketchikan. Where the bridge to nowhere was supposed to be
Warning, this is a link to. TikTok full of cadaver muscles and brains and stuff.
Some new fun maps
Some cool stuff in that link.
Crazy thing is that that map is latitudinally accurate. In other words, if you took the Mediterranean Sea and scooted it about 100º west, that's where it would end up.
You usually don't think of northern Italy as being on the same line as Montana, but there you go.
Mind blown rn. Thread title accurate
Pretty nice temp ranges

Edinbergh, Scotland, is further north than Ketchikan, Alaska.
Makes more sense when you think about wine
Ketchikan is basically coastal BC
I was in Prague midsummer once. Sun went down at like 10 and came up at 4. I'm like wtf? Then I look at my map and realize I'm on the equivalent of the northern latitudes of Canada
I’m from that sweet Moroccan climate

I fully expect some TMBer to say they’ve done both north and south pole
South Jamaica or Puerto Rico (not sure which is more south )
We were expecting you to go through Wikipedia and get exact coordinates for each.

Truman is a low effort poster
Basically the same. I excluded nov - mar as it doesn’t fit within my argument of it being basically the same. Plus no one goes outside during those times anyways
So you’re telling me that my social studies teacher that said the closer you are to the equator the warmer the weather is full of shit
