i thought the scorpion/sub zero fight and death was pretty cool.

 

I thought it was pretty good

I think the sequel will help the first movie a lot as it did feel a little rushed at times.

 

I keep waiting for Tsang Tsung to say “I’m good with calculation.”

 

I watched the first 7 minutes and

it seemed kind of corny.

but when it comes to movies I can be kind of an annoyingthundercunt, so I’ll slam a few gummies and beers and throw it a pitty watch.

thought it was obv he died from blood loss from the shoulder wound, the gut wound, and the litany of other cuts during his fight with sub zero. Think he just passed out after the stab wound in the shoulder and then woke up when he heard his kid crying

 

I enjoyed it. Good to see Warrior alum Joe Taslim whipping some ass.

received his laser eye naturally as a matter of destiny and not because he’s an evil, ruthless bastard who modifies his body for personal gain. TOTALLY fits the character

The My Hero Academia quirk bullshit was stupid as hell.

goro lasted about 3min, kind of wished the 1v1 fight scenes lasted longer, but they were entertaining

 

Kano stole the show for me

 

I liked the character, but they had 25 years of technology on their side and he looks worse than this:

 

First of all, I don’t know what everyone’s expectations were but this is a fun fucking movie. Is it a good movie? Fuck, no. It’s just very fun, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

 

Also kudos to the director for bringing back fan favorites (checks notes) Nitara and Reiko. Apparently, the letter writing campaign worked.

Anyone else find it funny that Scorpion spoke to Cole despite ZERO evidence that Cole spoke Japanese?

 

I'm a half hour in and this is fucking terrible

 

ppl can't help but let everyone know their movie tastes are special

 

The special effects are pretty bad and not a fan of Sub Zero's outfit so far.

 

I enjoyed it and loved the fan service not a great movie but makes me excited to see it as a movie series.

 

I mean guys, the source material isn’t Tolstoy, it was exactly what it was supposed to be.

 

The movie wasn’t what I hoped for, but exactly what I expected. It’s was a nostalgic meh for me. Will watch sequel. Just a lot for them to cram into 110 minutes.

 

Yeah and it’s also fun to make fun of it.

It's a pretty bad movie with some cool parts/scenes. Still think those shorts that went viral years ago would've been badass

Can't believe they killed Kung Lao off. The CGI on Goro was good tho
Jax Hammer guy fight was bad
Kabal was badass
Think they should've left Kano as an anti hero
The catch phrases were cheesy but fun
