Apparently countless Auburn boards are frothing over #LSU Tigers transfer QB TJ Finely and assume he'll be our starter next year. Kid might be good eventually, but he's not that great right now and didn't look good this spring at LSU
He was the most physically gifted QB on LSU's roster this spring and didn't look exactly bad in my book. His problems in the fall (Lossing to Auburn and Alabama) weren't really his fault. I believe it was more shitty OL play. Honestly, I don't think the separation between him and Max Johnson was that big in 2020. But nevertheless, this is where we are now.
It's weird that he's against it, but got the waiver for a Bama DB in year one to play right away. Seems like most coaches are split and they vote June 3rd. Would be dumb if they don't let kids transfer
It's honestly impressive that Bama fans can still be this sensitive after watching their neighbor's alma mater win approximately a million national championships in the last decade.
LOL. I think it was more amusement at the justification of Kirby “playing the transfer portal game” being the acquisition of a “bama guy” and failing to mention that he was benchwarmer that essentially never played, than sensitivity. As you mentioned, its pretty difficult to get seriously worked over these kinds of things these days
This could’ve been you, man. But instead you were probably shittalking your classmates about how the Dawgs just dominated the Outback bowl.
Not sure but he can’t seem to beat out McClendon at RT. We have a lot of OL. He’s a freak athlete, needs to get stronger. Iirc South Carolina game he outran our RB, like caught him from behind trying to block 20-30 yards down field.
