D3 says the Ademilola brothers are making 100k this year. Said Mayer just got a 40k signing bonus (whatever the fuck that means). D3 didn't go into details.
I’m sorry to disappoint but It was from his board. He also got pissy when asked for details. Said he don’t care about details he just knows with a 100% confidence. He’s close the Ademilola brothers father.
I listened to all 4 hours and actually digested like 20 minutes worth where D3 and that Shaun Davis guy argued about what actually happened with Tommy.
Shaun Davis has some axe to grind with Tommy, for some reason, to the point he's basically called Del a fall guy for Tommy's problems. It got to the point where I had to stop listening to LL. And I still listen to Mike Frank for God's sake.
That tracks, they were talking about Miami and how close Rees was or wasn't to going, D3 made it pretty clear it was never really a thing, an offer went out, Tommy said thanks but no thanks. The Davis guy kept going on about the other reporting that had him down there etc. It was kind of weird.
I heard the semi argument between them. Davis basically was saying Freeman had to go to Tommy and say do you want to stay or what. Then he said that's like when your wife says we need to talk it's never good. And compared it to that.
so looking into on3 a bit more and their consensus ranking does not make any sense whatsoever unless they are leaving out a source or 2
On3 is absolute shit. I think they’re doing stupid shit to get everyone talking about them i.e. Devin Brown being the number 1 player in the country. Also they hammer a players NIL worth. Do fans really care? Seems forced.
I signed up because you got a year for a dollar but it’s not very good, and not being on any site for recruiting in a while the posters really suck. I forgot how unlikable boomer and gen x ND fans (well all fans) can be.
The whole rivals crew of posters who migrated to on3 are some of the least funny people I have ever encountered but they are all having a hoot together so good for them I guess
247 is still the best. They would be bama dynasty level if Pete was still there full time. On3 and D3 next tier Somewhere in the deep ether is rivals and isd.
That new girl is churning out content but the posters are such ND fan stereotypes. I do like they cover all ND sports though.
Still can't believe they called the site On3. It's like something a web co. in 98 that tried being trendy and go belly up within a year
She makes me miss Ashley Russell. (Prove your age by liking this post prior to the spoiler) Spoiler: Ashley
Sinclair mentioned Micah Tease has already been to ND 3 times on his own dime. I didn't know that, love his film. I thought he was a long shot and still may be but visiting so much on his own is promising.
Vizzina shitting on Kelly a little bit. I enjoyed it and thought y'all would too. Vizzina on Jan. 6: “Coach (Marcus) Freeman FaceTime'd me a couple of nights after he got the job, and it was really late, probably 11:30 PM. And he told me, like, ‘You're one of our top guys, so I wanted to get you on the phone,’ and stuff like that. And that meant a lot to me because I never really had the best relationship with coach (Brian) Kelly. But coach Freeman's really made an effort to build a relationship with me. So, that means a whole bunch.”
I'm not sure that we even grasp, yet, what a difference it will make having a HC that enjoys and prioritizes recruiting. Especially one with charisma who relates well. Though to give credit, dancing jokes aside, Kelly has more charisma than he gets credit for and can be engaging. He just chose not to use it in recruiting to his fullest extent.
I know they are in on a lot of top guys, but I’d take Elzy and Tease now and whoever the next 3 they want in you take. At least start a foundation at the biggest position of need.
Agreed. With numbers at the position you take those two then go big game hunting for the next 3. Pair that with Moore or Vizzina and im confident they'd get it done
Loy posted an article "Five Crystal ball predictions I'm considering" Spoiler The 247Sports Crystal Ball is a tool used by analysts and experts to predict where a football recruit will eventually land. For example, I have a few outstanding class of 2023 predictions at this time for Notre Dame to land four-star offensive tackle Charles Jagusah, four-star cornerback Christian Gray and unranked offensive lineman Sullivan Absher to name a few. So, what are some other predictions I’m considering at this time? Let’s take a look at five notable prospects. FIVE-STAR DEFENSIVE END SAMUEL M'PEMBA Notre Dame is a top contender for Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star defensive end Samuel M'Pemba. The 6-4, 230-pounder is someone I see landing at either Notre Dame, Alabama or Miami at this time. I believe there are others in play, but those are the big players in this race in my opinion. Notre Dame will host him in March and the Irish will push for a commitment. They would love to secure him and add to a loaded 2023 class. One thing in favor of the Fighting Irish is the fact that just about everyone on the Notre Dame staff is recruiting him. While it’s one or two coaches from most schools, that’s not the case with Notre Dame. FOUR-STAR DEFENSIVE LINEMAN JASON MOORE As of today, I expect Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic four-star defensive lineman Jason Moore back on campus in April. The 6-6, 255-pounder is kicking around the idea of getting on campus for the Spring Game on Apr. 23. That would be big for Notre Dame’s chances at landing the No. 45 overall talent this cycle and No. 6 defensive lineman in the country. Penn State, USC, Miami and others are pushing hard to land the top recruit from the state of Maryland, but there is optimism inside the Gug that one more great visit could push Notre Dame over the top. FOUR-STAR RECEIVER BRAYLON JAMES Del Valle (Texas) high school four-star receiver Braylon James will make his way to Notre Dame twice in the next few months. The 6-2, 175-pounder is making his way to campus in March and then will return for an official visit shortly after that. As it stands now, this looks like a Notre Dame vs. Stanford battle, but don’t count out Georgia, LSU, Texas and TCU. That said, the recruiting efforts of head coach Marcus Freeman, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and receivers coach Chansi Stuckey could put the Fighting Irish out front here soon enough and that could lead toward his commitment. FOUR-STAR RUNNING BACK JAYDEN LIMAR I think Notre Dame is doing really well with Lake Stevens (Wash.) high school four-star running back Jayden Limar, the 5-11, 190-pounder listed as the No. 234 overall player in the country and No. 14 running back nationally. Limar is strongly considering offers from the Fighting Irish, UCLA, Oregon, Washington and others. Notre Dame made a great impression during his first visit to campus and he’s expected to return again in the coming months. That could be enough to move the needle in favor of Notre Dame, especially with running backs coach Deland McCullough now leading the charge. FIVE-STAR QUARTERBACK DANTE MOORE OR FOUR-STAR QUARTERBACK CHRISTOPHER VIZZINA I genuinely believe Notre Dame is in the Top 2 for both of these signal-caller: Detroit (Mich.) King five-star quarterback Dante Moore and Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian four-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina. Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees has done extremely well to put Notre Dame in a good spot for each of them. However, now it’s time for the Irish to seal the deal and land one of these premier quarterbacks. Notre Dame will host Vizzina, a 6-3, 200-pounder, in the coming weeks. He was recently on campus at Clemson. He could move into decision mode shortly after this trip to South Bend. With Moore, a 6-2, 195-pounder, he hasn’t been in much of a rush but that could change if things trend in a positive direction with Vizzina. Could he move up his timeline if he knows that he wants to be at Notre Dame? There is still a lot to be determined with each and there will be a lot of moving parts, but these two recruitments will be extremely impactful regarding how things play out for Notre Dame’s offensive recruiting efforts moving forward. OTHERS I THOUGHT ABOUT FOR THIS PIECE: 8COMMENTS Sharpsburg (Md.) St. James School four-star defensive lineman Devan Houstan, Chicago (Ill.) Simeon four-star receiver Malik Elzy, Folsom (Calif.) high school four-star receiver Rico Flores and Cambridge (Mass.) BB&N three-star athlete Ronan Hanafin. /SPOILER]
i think we will see a huge difference in wr recruiting now that the wr coach is actually recruiting instead of letting the nd logo on his jacket do it for him..
I saw that quote, seemed very telling. A hungry WR coach that has tons of playing time to sell seems like a recipe for success but we shall see
wrs are often pre Madonna, if there is one position where you need a coach to tell them how good they are and how much they want them, it’s wrs. Prima donnas :)
Someone ask Loy if he's heard that conversations have taken place with Dante Moore on moving up his commitment timeline, Loy replied "its something being discussed from what I'm told, but that's all it is for now".
