Rather trade back and get a second round pick for tomorrow. We need several pieces on defense. CB, DE, DL, and maybe even safety
Buscaglia called this earlier this morning 5. A Day Two Bills mock? I thought you’d never ask What might their strategy be with their long-term boundary cornerback now in the program? Let’s look at a path that makes sense based on their roster. The pick at No. 56: T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina I think this is an outstanding fit for the Bills, and one they could even move up to make happen on Friday. Sanders, with his strength at the point of attack, his run-defending abilities, his arm length and how he could grow into the one-technique role while maintaining three-down ability as a penetrating pass rusher, is an ideal solution. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Sanders has an arm length of 33.25 inches and shows an all-around skill set to eventually become the starter in Buffalo. In the meantime, getting him closer to 310 or 315 pounds would make him an ideal solution as the long-term answer after DaQuan Jones.
Grab an EDGE later. Really deep class for it. And an RB to potentially replace Cook in the future. Pleased so far.
Let’s get an edge or offensive weapon in the third round and the rest is just throwing darts at the wall
I think they are happy with Davis. I really think they’ll get a deal done with cook. But maybe I’m wrong. I won’t be mad if he walks.
I'd like a compromise, but 15m is a non starter. I agree on Ray, idk if I'd trust the lion's share of the backfield to him yet though if something can't get worked out with Cook.
Had a bad knee injury that kinda hurt him early in his college career was neighbors with blind dog so that’s worrisome has impeccable taste in buffalo wings because I’ve seen him at Chicknheadz like 4x so Buffalo is a dream location for him I think he had a 4 sack game against Bama once. Great motor and has spurts where he just takes over.
He’s pretty good and athletic but he sometimes takes plays off better against the run than pass rushing
Buscaglia has the bills either taking bowman (Oklahoma safety) or Royal (Utah state WR) to start tomorrow.

Would love to get a WR (Royals), RB (Smith) and S and then P with the last pick. Either way, get some special teams guys here.
We lead the league in plays with 6 OL. Makes sense we would draft the best blocking TE available. Bills want to lean on everyone.
Jordan Hancock was drafted in round 5 pick 170 in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.82 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 51 out of 2761 CB from 1987 to 2025. ras.football/ras-information/?PlayerID=27327&ovl=Bills— Kent Lee Platte (Mathbomb) (@mathbomb.bsky.social) 2025-04-26T19:26:06.531Z
Brandon Beane on Deone Walker says if they needed to play today, Walker could go, but the Bills do intend to get his back injury healthier and stronger -- he *could* be limited in the spring to be "more ready, more durable" for fall. Browns FA WR Elijah Moore is signing with the Bills a few days after the NFL Draft, sources say, getting a 1-year deal for $5M max. Another weapon for Josh Allen.— Ian Rapoport (@rapsheet.bsky.social) 2025-04-30T21:45:43.214Z
from reddit: Potential Bills Trade Candidates Discuss It was just announced that the Bills have signed six of their nine players from their rookie draft class. DE Landon Jackson, DB Jordan Hancock, TE Jackson Hawes, CB Dorian Strong, OT Chase Lundt, and WR Kaden Prather. Buffalo's $2.6 million in cap space will now be close to zero, so Buffalo has to make some moves. They could restructure a player like Dion Dawkins or Dawson Knox. They could also extend someone like Connor McGovern or James Cook. There are also a couple players who make sense as trade candidates. These were the top players that came to mind who I think are realistic as well as having value for the team trading for them. Who are some others I missed or some teams that may be interested? COMMENT AJ epensa trade saves us about 6 mil. To me, he is the most likely of all. COMMENT According to OTC, post 6/1 if they cut: Daquon Jones = 5.5M cap savings. AJ Epenesa = 2.7M Cap savings. COMMENT Just from listening to Joe Marino, AJ epenesa makes the most sense by far as a trade candidate to save cap, i don't think theres really anyone else that is tradeable. But he also mentions the QB2 battle of Trubinksy and White with the loser being cut and saving $1-$2 mil in cap there as well.
