Really low IYAM. Cramer talked about it the other day. That sub is just a collection of individuals with no ties to each other other than posting there. If a bunch of folks posting “hey I like this stock, buy some” is against some rule, basically every finance chat room, discord etc would be breaking rules. I don’t think the SEC wants to get into defining all that
That video was awesome, Cramer started chanting “We like the stock” saying Reddit was saying that and then there was a Reddit thread where just 10s of thousands of people replied “WE LIKE THE STOCK”
I have to wonder how much money will be lost as a result of this GME run. Just in terms of people either holding onto it way too long, or them thinking this is just what happens to stocks consistently. I’m sure tons of WSB types will be chasing this forever.
I feel like this will be comparable to the guys who hit a 13 team parlay and tell the world about it but fail to tell anyone about the previous 100 parlays they lost lol
Also, realistically how long can this last? Eventually it just tanks or at least hovers around a certain price for awhile right?
Probably not much now. Things are in motion that cannot be undone.100% they will write some unilateral reg to keep the capitalist class from taking another hit like this.
This week is highly likely to be the whole event. Friday at the latest I would guess. The VW “mother of all short squeezes” was like 4 days and back to normal.
If SEC shuts down GME, I immediately expect WSB to target BB and AMC. Hanging on to TRVN seems so boring right now
the like two weeks where he went all in on being a covid truther was sad noticed he scrubbed the history of it
Just look at Tesla and Bitcoin. That's how long it can last. Although Tesla and Gamestop are two companies going in opposite directions when you look at the actual business side of things.
Decided to wait and just throw more in on any dip tomorrow. If it doesn't dip I'll just settle on my meager but enjoyable gains. I dont play with a lot of money, just enough to keep it fun and interesting.
Its no different than the rich assholes that do it all the time, its just out in the open and basically on speed
I know almost nothing about investing but this story is incredible to follow. I’ve learned so much about the stock market but the more I learn the more hesitant I am to buy a single stock.
