I'm back on the Dirty Looks. Every time I listen to them, they climb a rung. Now I'm saying they're th ebest late 80s/early 90s hard rock band not named Guns n' Roses. Jesus tits. Just listen to every album from 88 (Cool From the Wire one of the best sounding hard rock albums ever) through Chewing on the Bit ('94). Christ Henrik Ostergaard was a genius
I'm trying to figure out why to ever listen to Megadeth again now that Dirty Looks is a staple of my life. They're my favorite part of everything.
Album is widely available on MFN label. Careful though, there is a Russian bootleg of the Japanese version.
Well shit just youtube julliet. Worth it. 2 Ls. Which very well just might be an earnest spelling error the band made in adopting a name.
Oh thank fuck I finally found my Badlands 'bum hiding out inside the sleeve for Night Moves of all things. Must've been a real steamer out in the garage that night
Not to do this again, (not really sorry), but every time I hear a Greta Van Fleet song on the radio my most instantaneous thought is how there's about two hundred late 80s-early 90s hard rock bands like Badlands that kick the shit out of GVF that tragically no one knows about or remembers
Are there any websites that track upcoming glam releases? It'll never match the classics but I do get in the mood for newer material sometimes.
Ultimate Classic Rock usually keeps track of these guys. Shit I still haven't heard Keifer's new album. Heard a quick shot of Great White's newer one and it sounded p good
Sweet Cheater (Italy) 1984 Sweet Cheater (United States) 1990 Sweet Cheater (Germany) 1986 Three obscure releases by three bands with the same band name.
Huge shock. Swedish early 90s butt metal band does everything absolutely perfectly and no one's heard of em. Knock me over with a feather.
The CD re-issue has a bit of a remastering job that I don't like. If I did vinyl I'd be all over the '87 original, even for the $100+ it goes for.
