From what I can find in open source, looks like 10 test platforms and 5 “operational” aircraft. On the one hand there is no reason to send a Felon into Ukraine; it’s technically a “multi-role fighter” but just like the F-22 is technically “multi-role” it’s an air superiority fighter that can in theory drop a few bombs. There’s much better aircraft to do that and there’s no air superiority mission in Ukraine anyway; better to just use Flankers (which are true multi-role aircraft and pretty freaking good if your pilots aren’t shit) or Fullbacks (Flanker variant kinda like the Strike Eagle). On the OTHER hand, Ivan be crazy. They sent at least two and possibly four Felons to Syria to a base under periodic drone attack just to show the flag and fire a cruise missile, so I could definitely see them flying in UKR just for the ‘gram. Given that 1) stealth aircraft are about as stealthy as a flying Land Rover when they have weapons on their external mounts and 2) in order to carry a ground attack load worth a damn they’d have to do that, it’d be pretty fucking funny if Russia lost 20% of their operation 5th gen aircraft to some Ukrainian farmer with a MANPAD
