Why would anyone appease Russia’s belligerent unprovoked war with new territory ? Pretty sure what Artoo desires is a scenario where Russia's invasion of Ukraine (or China's potential invasion of Taiwan) accelerates the destruction of the western social democracies and decline of American as a world power. There's plenty of (typically very online) people out there right now who will choose to align themselves with some of the worst actors in the world if it burns the current world order to the ground. If that means cheering on fascists like Putin or Trump or Modi, etc. so be it.
To be explicitly clear, being anti war doesn't make you a Putin puppet. There's several in this thread that are not Hawks and are against escalation. What makes you a puppet is constantly using Russian talking points on how Ukrainians are Nazis, how they as an ethnic group deserve this, is what makes you very transparent.
