“Unfortunately, I also believe the fight will last a long time, will result in thousands of casualties, and neither side will achieve their strategic objectives.” ^^Well, glad we can all agree here^^
This one stood out to me. They have an outline of one of our aircraft carriers in the desert for target practice. Wow. https://news.usni.org/2021/11/07/ch...-aircraft-carrier-destroyers-in-remote-desert
Yes carrier and destroyer mock ups they shoot long range missiles at. Also some of them are running on tracks so they can mimic a moving ship. They know exactly what they will be facing and are building the arsenal to neutralize it.
There are way more US assets in the area than on that tweet no aircraft carrier is only supported by 3 ships
Fwiw this guys tweets read like a qanon weirdo. I clicked to watch the vid and noticed I had him blocked. I’d probably take his tweets with a grain of salt.
Iran can't do shit to the US. China and Russia can't really do shit to the US (besides the obvious like ICBMs). But what if we, the US, strategically place forces and assets all around these countries that can then be attacked. Like, why the fuck are there American troops anywhere near where Iran can attack them? Why have we surrounded China with more than 200 military bases? It's antagonizing. It's baiting these countries into doing something to them justify a large military involvement and we're always told that a good ol'war is what's good for the economy (it's not). They want to provoke wars to keep the MIC fed. They were over the moon with the Ukraine war, they said so themselves. They get to use all their war toys, but don't have to deal with any negativity of dead Americans. They don't care about all the thousands of dead Ukrainians. It's all money for the war machine. Provoke more war
We recently assassinated General Soleimani and broke the nuclear deal so that might have something to do with it as well. We've fucked with them for decades. Can't be surprised when they do it back.
But what if those countries ask us to be there? What if they’re afraid of Russia and Chinas ability to end their sovereignty?
Iran has been doing more to us than we have to them for awhile. Eliminating saddam was a boon for them. They drone striked us after soleimani and injured some of our guys and everyone seemed to agree to let it go. Making it seem like Iran is just responding to our aggression is a bad misreading of the situation though. It’s usually us reacting to Iranian attempts at aggression, mostly through their proxy terrorist groups.
GCC countries for sure. Iraq and Syria allow a pretty permissive environment for those groups of not outright power sharing.
Tankers in Mideast getting their markings covered up. Is this nothing? Are we loaning to Israel? Getting ready to fly combat?
So, In Dagestan, the citizens stormed the airport to get to a plane that arrived from Tel Aviv to look for Jews. It’s frightening scenes.
long thread on how far behind the US Military is on electronic warfare. Here's a tank with a jammer getting destroyed.
I am pretty sure this has been going on for a while. A bunch of flight trackers have been raising hell about this for six months or so. The US is claiming the registration details can give away OpSec so they started removing them a while back. https://theaviationist.com/2023/03/...rs-and-unit-markings-from-aircraft-for-opsec/ “We operate across the globe every day, often supporting sensitive movements of people and cargo. Understandably, we have concerns about the operational security impacts to these missions in the modern era of on-demand, real-time information,” AMC says in a statement. “Subdued paint schemes that limit identifiable information is one way we are taking a hard look at how we operate to ensure our ability to continue to deliver for America and our allies and partners around the world.”
