I play Hanzo a bit. His value is softening tanks for a push, picking off healers, and I usually take out attack characters close range with his scatter shot. Plus, his radar arrow helps spot flank characters like reaper before he can ult. I'm definitely more effective playing a traditional DPS hero, bit Hanzo is just fun. His super is trash though.
Definitely trash against halfway decent teams unless it's a well-timed and placed combo ult with Zarya, Reinhardt, or even Mei (now).
Never had any problem playing against Hanzo or Widow. If they're giving you issues, swap to Genji or Reaper or Tracer and go get em

New ptr is out. Pretty nice ana nerf incoming. So I've been in a huge slump lately - started at 2600 for the season. Last weekend I kept getting hot garbage in solo q and slid all the way to 1600. I'd go 38-5 with 70% hooks with roadhog, and my team would fuck around and lose every fucking game. Today I finally got out of it. Group of 3 of us went 8-1. I had a 29-0 roadhog game on one of the hybrid payload maps, that was a blast. Turns out 3 platinum players matching up with gold and silver makes the game fairly easy.
I feel ya man. 1600 should be easy to solo queue up though. I need some help to get me up for the most part. Hit 2973 thanks to the help of Super Vegeta last night, but have been on a slide since and am down at like 2800 now. Also, you probably know this, and it only helps about half the time (bc people don't do it), but one thing that helps immensely in solo queue is communication. If your team is communicating and the other isn't, you're team has a huge advantage. Always go to the team chat and hope people are in there if you're not already doing that.

Played a match defending with two Symmetras. Thought we were doomed, but the enemy never even captured the first objective. It was on Anubis and their teleporters jumped us straight into the shit whenever someone died.
Finally went over 2500 yesterday after being stuck between 2400-2500 for weeks. Got up to almost 2700 almost immediately
I got to the top 500 at SR 3577 the other day, which is awesome, but now I can only play with 3 people on my friends list.

I'm not even going to tempt myself. Those nights up to 3am and then turning around and trying to come to work now would be impossible for my old ass. It was bad enough when I just had to skip class. I do miss being terrible at the jumping puzzles and just raging about it
Pharah is my main. I generally play any dps minus Genji. I run a rein or Zarya as well whenever I get uncooperative teammates.
a good Mei I think is probably one of the most influential characters in the game her and Zarya are my mains
Well timed Zarya ults win/change games. It's pretty much necessary to have a Zarya on your team at higher levels.
was about to break through to 2800 and i've gotten a bunch of trashcan teams that can't be carried. A triple stack of 15 year olds screaming racial slurs on the mic a guy who got calibrated way too high and is gonna lose 70mmr per game until he's at 2100 where he belongs fucking kill me
I am convinced I will never get to play anything besides support ever again. I am getting paired with nothing but people who auto lock their favorite hero immediately, team comp be damned.

I am confident in my ability to play the following dudes: Zen, Lucio, Roadhog, Ana, Rein, Zarya, D.Va I can almost competently play: Tracer, Pharah, Mei, Winston, Mercy, Torb I feel like a retarded person when trying to play anyone else. Honestly cant remember last time i picked anyone else. Probably need to work on a few dps heroes not named zen or roadhog.
