umbreon is a complete defensive type so I could see them just completely nerfing his attack & not upping his stamina & defense to compensate for it
This is how I'm feeling to I played the original Pokémon like crazy after that I didn't play much so have no connection with the new ones or which ones are good and not
this is a time when Nearby worked out. on the way to get a Dratini at a stop I pass a Snorlax. get the Dratini and another pops up. then another. then another. then a Dragonite. then an Electrode(first wild ever). then a Dratini. none of them, save the last Dratini, had either high IV or CP but in 20 minutes that's still nuts. the last Dratini was 91 IV and level 23 so I took the 180 candy I'd been saving since I started this game and finally made my own Dragonite. what a way to send off Gen 1 proud papa
the 24 Dratini candy is a bit of bullshit but in all fairness I've caught like 45 Dratini and that was like the 3rd ever over 82 IV and the two that did (82 and 84) were both super low level that I couldn't afford to power up. I'd been waiting for a decent Dratini for months and months. the moveset was also luck, though.
Have a maxed out 93 IV Dragonite with SW/DP... I'm 60ish away from evolving my 89 IV high level Dragonair. I'll lose my shit if it's the same moveset
Yes, pretty much all my top guys are all defenders. It's definitely a better problem to have than the reverse but I'd like an offensive tank tbh
yea I'm all offensive. Rhydon (altho best O and D moveset is same), Snorlax, Vape (7 over 2200, none with WP), etc. I've got some good lower max CP defenders like Exeggutors but you can't always place those, at least not at my level.
probably going to buy 250-300 more slots to give me 650-700. idk, I'm tempted to chuck 10 bucks at it and just go from 350-1000 but that's likely overkill.
does anyone else's throws feel stronger with the update? I moved from an S6 to an S7 and it made a noticeable change in my throwing strength and fucked up my curve pattern (S6 had a slightly bigger border) so I've been having to re-tool my muscle memory but I loaded up the update and my normal throws for like basic middle pokemon like Oddish, Eevee, etc. felt crazy strong. if anything I'm happy because I often switched my technique up for some of the further away guys but it'd be nice to hit everything but the really far away ones without having to change how I hold my phone and throw.
in what is welcome news there appears to be a reduced candy cost to evolutions of pokemon that require special items to evolve. there's a Scyther to Scizor evolution photo from a Japanese press kit that only wants 40 candy plus a Metal Coat item. not a huge difference but anyone can tell you that having to catch 3 less of an already rare pokemon helps. I'm sure those items won't come easily from stops but I'd rather wait on them than need 3 more pokemon.
been months since i played, updated yesterday, and can't even get to the login screen cuz I'm jailbroken I'm assuming. anybody else jailbroken (iOS 9.1) that has a working bypass?
OK your throws are definitely stronger now. I barely had to flick the damn thing and it curved to this Snorlax with ease. can't wait to try it on a Golbat or Dragonite. a welcome change imo. I wasted far too many balls doing bullshit throws for those far away ones. I lost more ultra balls trying to curve them for Dragonites than I did actually having Dragonite escape.
also fuck these bitchmade fakeass fans logging back in for gen 2 and slowing shit to a complete crawl after having barely played for months. it's like July all over again.
Sakura - Espeon Tamao - Umbreon guaranteed 1 time like the ones before it. I suggest saving a truly elite Eevee for these.
can anyone answer this question: has anyone's throw strength noticeably grown? like do balls go WAY farther for you now?
