Fire Spin/Overheat. stupidly overpowered. if the meta wasn't so into Water Flareon would be king for attackers.

 

I got 2 of them early for whatever reason (maybe because Eggs were everywhere in gyms), I think it was my first 2k pokemon but I couldn't justify the dust anymore once they got passed by. it's a cool pokemon.

 

Anyone know of a good IV app for IOS?

Have been using calc IV per apes suggestion. It overlays the Pokemon app so no extra work.

Just evolved my first Gyarados too maxed out at 2425 HP140 with Dragon Tail and Outrage, Level 26.5

 

Just evolved my Scyther and got a Scizor with Fury Cutter and Night Slash

 

Walking home from the bar last night I caught a Muk in the wild. Down to Tangela and Aerodactyl for my Kanto dex

 

Did the throwing mechanics change again?

Finally got a Charizard, took for fucking ever.

Also 1 Pinap;d Magikarp away from my first Gyrados.

 

I'm over 800 Magikarp candies and counting.....I just wanna find one over 90% IV lol. I must have caught 100 of them this last week and nothing over 75%

 

I'm in fear that this event ends before I even hit my first 400. At 291 now

I just know I'm going to get the worst move set. I'm setting on an 89% that I've been sitting on foreverrrrr (hatched)

 

it's extremely boring to attack with, just evolve it and put it in a gym.

 

I'm doing about 100 candy a day so I should be able to make 2 Gyarados by the time this event ends. got a perfect I hatched but need to find a 93+ for a second.

my 2 10ks were a Miltank and an unworthy Larvitar so I used the 24 candy and boosted my Ttar to 2700. another 30 candy and it'll max at 3068 then I can work on the 161 I need to make and max the 98 Larvitar I have.

 

I mean, I have a rhydon mill going for me here. Mostly trying to fill out my dex and have nice things

 

finally evolved my first Gyrados

97 IV, 2068 CP, Hydro Pump/Dragon Tail

 

hah, turns out the guy who runs the whole alerts network I'm on is a VT grad and codes bots for a living for other games. he also gave me access to the alerts for my city so now I can refine the IV alerts (like previously only perfect gen 1 starters would make an alert happen but I'm going to lower it a little so I can get a few nice Bulbasaur/Squirtle since I can make like 3 of each atm).

 

Finally got a Totodile. I don't know why they'd advertise him in this event and make him rare in most biomes

 

I haven't seen a real increase in them or Squirtle. like I can look at my map and see more but they don't "infest" like they did for the starter event. I'd really have to go out of my way to farm them up.

 

Weird...Totodile and Seel are two I've seen the most

 

we never get Seel and I've caught like 20. mostly Karp, Slowpoke, Psyduck, Tentacool, Wooper, Marrill, and Seel. all the Waters I've seen but those the most.

I saw 4 Vaporeon on my map at the same time yesterday. none worth a damn but still funny. only a few Gyarados this event, though.

Got an upgrade for my 7th day spin. Good thing I only need 35 Porygon candies.

I'm convinced this game trolls with spins. I have been dangerously low on potions and revives for 3 weeks. 90% of my spins have been pokeballs. Sitting on 300 combined great/ultra balls

 

went out for a few Lapras (Pinap'd 3 today, up to 89 candy), came home to this



FWIW I had about 50-60 candy when the event started so got it in 75 tries. it's probably a 1% chance or bit less.

 

doubt it's anything close. given a .0125% chance I had a less than 1% chance of it happening in 75 Magikarp.

 

recent update sucks dick. it's so janky, there's a delay on stops giving items, sightings randomly go blank even when you're nowhere close to the speed limit and motherfuck the old throw mechanics.

awful, awful update.

 

Yep. Same issues. Glad it's not just something screwy with my phone. They should honestly roll it back it's so bad.

120 Lapras candy and no Frost Breath/Blizzard near the CP I want. I do have the FB/Ice Beam one and it's fine so if that's all I get that's OK but I would like to try Blizzard.
