Yeah, I got the sandwich first time around. Was curious if anyone had tried the turkey. In theory it would stand to be quite delightful.
Most recent 10-K on the SEC’s website is for 2016 and they did $108 million in sales and $155 million in franchise fees https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/...201610k.htm#sD527DFCC8BAC52BAB6EBF0D42527B0F4

$414 million in revenue from Popeyes, which includes franchise fees. So probably under $200 million in sales. You were only a little off there dblplay1212
The number I saw is probably total sales since RBI was formed in 2014. My bad on that, I didn't do a deep dive. Point stands though. RBI isn't just throwing stuff at the market and hoping it works. Months/years goes into developing new items.
This guy being defiant and quoting $30 billion in sales multiple times, only to be exposed as quoting an inaccurate and exaggerated number, but then doubling down on the fact that his point still stands is peak dbl.
I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. I wasn't wrong about the testing though. But yea let's get hung up in 30b vs 5b and ignore that they did take 2 years to develop it.
In another crushing dbl defeat, the Popeyes In Neptune Beach does not have the chicken sandwich today.
