In my experience, the iDevice casting via Airplay 2 is worse than chromecasting.
Barco Clickshare is the best solution i have seen but it’s expensive. I’ve been in a lot of conference rooms in a lot of countries and this is the one that’s always “just worked”. Beyond that, for casting with no lag, I’d try a hard wired solution if one computer is the only one that’ll ever need to be projected. Given enough time the cord could be secured in a way to not be a trip hazard or look like crap.
Having a good toiletry travel kit is such a nice thing to have that you don’t think about until you get one.
Yeah, I am currently using an unorganized one and it's hell.
tell a plebeian what makes a good one
needs to have lots of space for my vaping equipment
considering it doesn't get its own bag I doubt you vape
Experience tells me you gotta find one that fits your needs. I’ve hated ones that others loved etc. Tom Bihn, red xox, Eagle Creek, LL Bean etc are all good makers. There’s a million more out there. I had to go through a few and figure out what didn’t work before I found what did work. I also have a clear one that stays packed specifically for carry on only travel. It’s much more spartan but I get less than 24 hours notice for some of my work trips.
TMB I need some advice for a bag for my vaping equipment
I went with the VAPE small vape bag. I went to VCI in Shelton just last week, and my vape bag that I had with me was just a messenger bag. My shoulder was killing me because i had my juice, my build kit, and like 5 mods with me. Plus all the stuff i had already picked up at the convention. then, VIOLA! The heavens opened and i walked by the vent bag booth. So i checked em out, and bought one of the backpacks. The guys working the booth were awesome, and the bag is awesome. I can fit my coil master build kit, ALL my mods, a bunch of juice, mod rag, wallet, and anything else i may need in there. I am super stoked to get the box mod insert for the bag as well. This thing is amazing. I bought one for a couple of friends, and had probably 7-8 other friends buy one. EVERY vaper needs one of these bags. Comfy, and fits everything you need
I special ordered one with red trim it is so choice
I need new work slacks. No one ever seems to buy pants in here.
Well, not for you at least
I bought some of the new Mizzen + Main chinos. Should arrive Saturday. I’ll report back,
Do they have a vape pocket?
Their short sleeve button down shirts are a game changer. Love them.
I own zero short sleeve button downs
i see that you are also a man of taste
The image I have of you is always in a short sleeve button up.
Ahh the great debate of short sleeve button downs. I think the pendulum is swinging back in their favor.
As long as it's with a tie I don't see a big deal
Correct. It's a bit pricey but imo the fact that it's built to last the apocalypse sets me at ease.
just make sure your tie matches your EDC sawed off Remington 870
I used to be 100% against the short sleeve button downs but in the last couple of years, I find myself owning a few. getting old sucks.
when did they ever fall out of favor
Short sleeve button ups
I'm wearing a short sleeved button down vented fishing shirt right now
Dont @ me
bigred77 are you about to go fishing?
bigred77 ok I was just checking
I switched to Bonobos about a year ago. For about a year I've been wondering what took me so long.
Khakis =/= slacks
bonobos still undefeated
although m&m slacks has me intrigued...
I bought some Rhone commuter pants last week and they're incredible. They're more on the casual side.
So if you don’t wear short sleeve button ups, what do you wear to go out in during summer? Mizzen and Main have fitted shirts that are longer than others I’ve had all while being dri-fit but not looking like I just played 72 holes.
You wear them under your jersey?
Tuxedo t shirt, duh
I roll the sleeves up. Mizzen and Main for warm weather and some form of wool shirt for anything not the dead of summer. I changed jobs and I’m more of a field/plant person than a meetings all day person. I have a lot of Brooks Brothers type shirts that just don’t get worn until more money changes my mind. In the end I spend half my day in a flame retardant dress shirt over whatever shirt I wore to the office so don’t take any advice from me. Other than how to sweat through too many clothes. Short sleeve dress shirts remind me of my professors too much to ever wear them.
Yah I just wear regular long sleeve button downs in summer and roll up the sleeves.
I prefer Kit and Ace, as they have some that look like suit pants as well. Pretty slim fitting, though.
Wear the Rhone commuters to golf and on Fridays.
I’ll have to check them out. I have trouble finding pants in a 36” inseam. All my dress slacks have to be tailored.
I've become a huge fan of Amazon's Goodthread no wrinkle chino's.
Otherwise, haggar, polo, and brooks brothers that I find on ebay and have hemmed. Thread likes bonobos too.
I go haggar coastal comfort everyday.
Thanks I’ll check it out. And isn’t Bonobos owned by Walmart? I hate bertwing as a poster.
Shut up and give me your money lil boy
$20 on ebay, not shabby at all.
Haggar Cool Pro is the majority of my pants selection for work. Inexpensive, comfortable and look good enough
