My dad bought a Honda lawnmower when I was kid and hated it so he bought a 30 year old Yazoo mower and had it for another 20 years
My yard would be ideal for a Walker, that’s what most of my neighbors have. This might just be a perception/bias thing but the other property I maintain (my grandads old land) is more of a goat rodeo than a putting green if you know what I mean. The slower speed and pristine finish cut would only serve me half the time, but congrats on the Rolls Royce of mowers. They’re amazing.
I tried to maintain the batteries properly on my Stihl battery leaf blower and hedge trimmer but they only last like 10-15 minutes now.
Battery powered has a place and it’s rarely in my garage. I’ve replaced most of my battery powered tools with their corded siblings (for about the price of buying one set of replacement batteries every time). I’ve got a little Honda generator if I can’t power something from my truck or an outlet. Admittedly sometimes battery powered is the only answer so I have a few. This is in no way meant to be political, it’s just the reality of batteries crapping out when the corded version of my grandad’s tools still work half a century+ later. Same with gas powered equipment. I burn less than 15 gallons of gas mowing my yard every year. My neighbors with battery powered mowers are already tossing batteries and buying new ones, and something about that seems wrong. ________________ Lithium ion hate shield.
Yah at this point I'd probably rather have a gas version of this Stihl blower. A 36V battery for a Stihl leaf blower at Ace is $160 They tell you not to leave them plugged into the charger all the time because that will slowly diminish the battery life. Instead you should wait until you need them then charge them. There can't be a lot of people that actually do that.
anyone ever wear the chubbies performance pants? Everything on the site is 40 bucks tomorrow so I may give them a try.
I agree 100%. I don’t like being “forced” in a direction (e.g. some states are already phasing out future sales of small engines and don’t have adequate battery recycling opportunities to act as a counterbalance.) But I respect the spirit and intent of the directive.
Yes, I own 5 pair. Extremely comfortable, little tight on my calves but I have big calves too. Not really wrinkle resistant, I have to steam them before wearing. They’re my go to golf pants.
Just got two era 100 sonos and the mini sub to pair with my beam center channel. Just a 2 bedroom condo so should be sufficient for the space.
anyone have a recommendation for a router? don't need anything crazy - it's a 800 sq ft studio - but i torrance, stream, play a few online games, etc and will buy gigabit internet.
Okay, okay, cool. Just making sure you weren't making the same mistake my father did when he bought my mother a bowling ball one year and a shotgun the next.
You must not be as fat as me because I had to size up (and my wife still calls the shirts my shmediums).
I wear the sweatshirt a ton but that’s sized diff from tees. I also put on weight since I bought the tees and don’t wear them now
The t-shirts vary depending on the color in my experience. I have numerous XL's and they range from being tight to a little too loose but most fit as expected. Sweatshirts are true to size.
For all you guys shopping Homefield, FYI, Vintagebrand has many of the same styles cheaper. They also run sales pretty regularly. T-shirts are true to size. They also carry 3/4 sleeve raglan shirts, that I very much dig. Vintage Sports Apparel, Jerseys & Fan Gear | Vintage Brand
