It is a deviated septum. Gave me some sinus wash with some medicine I put in it to reduce inflammation? Idk, seems to have helped a little but it’s still really fucking annoying so I’ll probably obt for the surgery once I can get a CT scan. Seems like a shit surgery for a few days but worth it in the long run. Hopefully since mine is just the septum being deviated towards the front bottom it’s a more simple recovery than something farther up the nose.

Had mine done a few years ago. Recovery was hell for about a week. Fast forward to today and I’m back to where I started prior to my surgery. At some point I will likely break down and try surgery again though. It was great for a year or 2.

Once the splints came out, it just slowly grew back to how it was before.

One other thing. If you expand the photo and look behind and to the right of the white car next to the Kennedy limo you’ll see a small median between
Main Street and Elm Street in front of the railroad overpass. If you ever wondered why they turned right from Main onto Houston Street to make the left onto Elm instead of just going straight down Main you’ll see the presidential limo wasn’t jumping the median to get to Kennedy’s scheduled dinner which was also down the Stemmons Freeway. It made for a nice shot…from 2 or 3 different positions…
