Okay but like how do we like know that elephants didn't look like that 600 years ago, never heard of evolution, hmmm?
Like we needed more evidence that dogs are better than people. If this was steaks or hams unsupervised on a table “for free”, the first human that rolled up would have loaded the entire box and drove/walked off.
Dollar Tree C-Suite: “lol guys I know a way we can increase profits 25% and just blame it on the government. Then we can tell people the only way to fix it is to reduce taxes some more on rich people and corporations.”
Imagine being the type of person who goes into a Dollar Tree and balks at paying $1.25 for something instead of only $1.00 like previously. I’m not even that cheap.
You mean "Poor"? That absolutely matters to some people. Not to mention the added insult of it really just being about corporate greed
A lot of people rely on those inexpensive items, unfortunately. Stores are taking advantage of the inflation propaganda hawks by increasing prices to take more in profits, and they will keep their prices at those high points once things settle down and supply chains are back in balance. Target came out and said they weren’t increasing their prices and their shareholders sold off because of it.
