I had madden 2003 for PC and tbh I liked that keyboard control better than the subsequent football games I had once I got PS2.
Tried getting into computer gaming but just never enjoyed the keyboard/mouse experience as much as the controller.
If you never spent a night with your friends high on Mountain Dew and an N64 or Playstation 1 game rented from Blockbuster or your shitty local grocery store rental section you had a v sad childhood.
That feeling when you rent F-Zero a million times. Then when you finally have saved up enough to buy it, you realized youre already bored with it after a week of owning it
I played them over at friends, but never had one myself. Always ended up getting my ass kicked bc didn't have a console. Maybe my parents just wanted me out of the house lol
I work fully remote and, during Covid, had in my signature line "Based on Covid-19 restrictions, please contact me by cell phone: XXX" I need to change it. Which is better: "I am most available by cell phone at XXX" or "I am best available by cell phone at XXX"
You quoted me less than one minute after I posted, sir. real-life version of the meme: -send song to friends -they reply "cool" before song possibly could have played
In Durham, Bullock’s is probably your most traditional NC BBQ spot. It’s good but that’s probably my nostalgia speaking. I think there are definitely a ton of better non-BBQ options downtown.
PCs support ps5 and Xbox controllers now but being able to lounge on the couch is harder to replicate
Check here as well. https://www.the-mainboard.com/index...-all-outdoor-cooking-except-whole-hog.120287/
Awesome, thanks everyone one. Yea we’re staying downtown so I figured we’d hit a bunch of different spots. Looks like a decent food scene. But I live in Richmond and our BBQ is shit tier (plus I’m a big vinegar/nc chopped bbq guy) so I always try to hit some good spots when heading south.
I have a mandated email signature with our office address and office phone number. So, if there's not an instruction to call my cell instead, they call my office line which is never answered. I've tried to change to no avail.
[whispering to date when Die Antwoord appears on screen in Chappie]: “That’s BamaNug’s favorite music group.”
My company has email sigs we are “supposed” to use and I just stripped out all the crap I didn’t want or need. Just put your cell in there. No one will notice.
I also do contract work for my old law firm, so have to use their company computer, login to their VPN, etc. I have to carry around two computers and operate in both capacities. It's a pain in the ass sometimes.
I travel with my two laptops and my iPad. It really sucks going through airport security and having to remove all devices. Sometimes I can put them in one bin, sometimes I have to put each into a separate bin because there is zero uniformity with airport security and I fucking hate it. I was leaving Alabama after Christmas and a TSA agent laughed at me and commented, "oh wow, I bet you're a ton of fun." It hurt my feelings.
it's not the fluffy and sometimes sweet cornbread most are accustomed to. It's dense, somewhat starchy. Sam addressed it on his site due to all of the yelp reviews that mentioned it: https://www.samjonesbbq.com/news/20...n-learn-the-legend-of-our-notorious-cornbread
if you don't mind a little drive, Lexington is about 20-25 minutes down 85 from HP and has some legendary spots. Don't know much about BBQ in W-S, maybe Tobias does he's not too far from there.
