    As much as I love it, they needed to stop after this past season. PERFECT ending and now the 9th season won't even be at Sacred Heart hospital. I think I read that it will be somewhere else this year and there will be a bigger focus on the interns. :rolleyes:

    I used to be a huge fan of the show, and watched all the re-runs on Comedy Central, but I haven't seen it in a long time now. I had a schedule conflict on Tuesdays during the last season, and only saw like 1 episode. My bro and I used to rag on each other while doing Dr. Cox impressions.

    Have any of the regular cast members been written off?

    Entourage has taken its place for me. I just started watching my friend's dvds in like March and I can't get enough of it.

    Its one of my favorite shows on TV, (Entourage, dexter, How i met your mother are also all excellent) i do agree that it should have stopped with the last season (perfect ending in my eyes) that said bill Lawrence has a good point when he said "i can employee 100+ people/friends for at least another year by continuing it, just give the new version a shot."
    Ill be watching the new season and hope it brings something new/good to the table.

    love the show. loved the first four seasons, then in seasons 5-7 JD became too over the topi thought and he got annoying. still was hilarious but I dont watch those episodes as much as I do the older ones. i thought this past season was really really good and the "series finale" was absolutely perfect. i'll wait to see how this season plays out but I think they're gonna ruin the good name that the show built over the last decade.
