The whole system is antiquated and was only relevant before every game was on tv but that's a whole seperate can of worms.
He likes to look at it as who would be favored on a neutral floor. What’s stupid about how he ranks is the separation between #3 and #9 is so negligible that any of those teams playing each other would essentially be a PK based on the computer numbers. So, it’s like he doesn’t even look at the numbers he claims to use to base his rankings.
Kermit burned all his timeouts by 2 min mark in the first half. It’s not going well for Ole Miss in this game but that’s a bold strategy
Big slate of games tonight. Miss St has a tough road game against Florida, and if Mike White wants any chance of staying at Florida, he needs to win tonight. aTm getting UK at home while being undefeated in conference play is huge for them. A win there really boosts their chances to stay in the conference race. And it’s a potential trap game for UK with Auburn coming up this weekend, although I’m not sure the trap philosophy applies to UK because just about every game for them could fall into that category. And Bama-LSU is really intriguing. Does Bama drop its fourth straight? Does Pinson return for LSU tonight? Bama really needs a win tonight.
Each game our student section selects one player to boo relentlessly the entire game any time they touch the ball. Last night it was Stevenson.
I missed the first couple minutes and I was like "what did he do?" Skilled whites are a favorite target of student sections
It's been a fun start, but A&M has no chance of staying in the race for conference champ long term. Just hoping for a respectable showing tonight and then fighting the rest of the season to stay on the bubble or get into comfortable at-large bid territory.
This LSU team is tough to watch sometimes. It looked like we had gotten past the Jekyll & Wade teams in previous years. But now we’re back to a coin flip on what team you’re going to get on a given night.
We didn’t make a 3 for the first time in 23 years our last game, the 3rd longest streak in NCAA history! Welcome to the party pal
Yeah. It's not like UK shot much better. They were 36% from the field and 22% from 3. Played awful and still found a way to win on the road.
And yet A&M held UK to 36% shooting and the starting PG damn near had double-digit turnovers and they still lost
I miss the old days when it was an easy drive to Atlanta every year. Of course in those days AU was out on day one.
