Pretty sure I used to have a Jake Browning contenders draft auto but I sold it for like $2 years ago. Could probably get $4 now if I had held it.
So long story short, clients daughter reached out a couple of weeks ago, her dad passed and her mom was headed to a home so they wanted to do an estate sale, I've been going through boxes and boxes of shit like this, full sets dating, back to the 50's. boxes of shit unopened, still in original packaging, it's been crazy most of the really good shit I pulled and she has set aside but this is the ash and trash so yeah pretty solid score
I have that Hank Aaron card on the top row. Found it in an antique store with my grandad. No idea if it’s worth anything but always remember buying it with him
Not really a collectible but one of the guys from the athletic sold prints of his score sheet from the World Series clincher and mine came in today
Welp, took me a while but I finally got an eBay buyer trying fuck me over because they have buyers remorse.
A lot of baseball cards and $78. They're claiming they didn't know that the box it was going to be sent in would only be half full even though the picture in the listing clearly shows a half full box. Based on everything I've ever read I'm probably out the $78 because eBay refuses to side with the seller.
Just tell him you'll issue a full refund once he returns. you'll pay for a return label, he prints off & ships. once you receive the cards, you issue the refund. or suck his dick a 3rd time.
It's very much the principle of the matter at this point. The guy probably got the box of cards, went through it, realized he wasn't going to easily flip individual ones to make up the cost, and is pissed and trying to get a return.
