I also don’t think enough is being made about how poor Kane’s strike was in the 116’. He literally kicks it right into his path, in just about the only spot he could’ve stopped it. It was incredibly poor.
Would probably help if we didn't play him into the ground every fucking season. And we wonder why he gets hurt every year.
We have two or three strikers that would have missed the frame of the goal entirely on that shot. So from my point of view it was a really good shot.
I think this information is incorrect but who knows... there's what 2 years left on his deal? (original contract was for 3.5 years iirc)
I can’t remember if Castles is shit-tier or not. Nothing I can see from Alasdair’s Twitter but I haven’t watched any of his video content.
I don’t care how much it costs, you can’t bring him back next year. Should just fire him now on the off chance it sparks the team. But Levy’s a bitch so he’ll probably still be our manager next season.
I imagine Mourinho will get his shot at a trophy vs City. After that, he’ll be sacked at the earliest convenience.
I’d like to think Jose hates him as much as we do. My guess at the lineup if he really shakes it up is 3-4-3 with a back line of Rodon, Alderweireld, and Tanganga; Reggie and Doherty as wingbacks with GLC and PEH in the middle, and a front line of Lucas, Kane, and Berg.
so the Sissoko stuff was bullshit. Winks must have thrown a hissy fit this week, especially after he was kept out oft he England squad. Fuck him.
My official shit list and never want to see em again list is as such: Winks, Doherty, Sissoko. I still love Toby but recognize he is past reliability. Dier is about on the list because his Englishness is a farce and he’s not good enough to occupy a foreign slot. If Dier and Skriniar (or whatever foreign CB we target) are treated the same for registration purposes, clearly bin Dier.
I may need to turn off the audio for this game. I fucking hate when announcers come in with a predetermined narrative and then see everything through that lens.
I’m being agist but he has perhaps next season left of PL quality. Lloris with maybe three, GK’s don’t deteriorate as fast but that needs to get addressed soon.
I get it, but I just think he adds something that no other player does. I’m not saying he is a perfect player or well rounded, but I just appreciate what he brings, especially in these types of games. You can’t teach speed.
