I just signed up for Shudder. Hate the app. I wasn't really looking for anything specific when I got on there but browsing to find something interesting was a waste of time.
Yeah I’ve had it for about a month now. I’ve definitely seen some good stuff on there (Revenge was solid), but the layout is far from ideal.
Also just found out There is a Hell House LLC Director's Cut. Looks like it's available for free on Tubi. https://tubitv.com/movies/585647/hell-house-llc-the-director-s-cut?start=true
Brand New Cherry Flavor on Netflix is absolutely bonkers and I loved it. Gotta power through the first episode or so though. Catherine Keener is excellent. So is the guy who plays Lou Burke. Rosa Salazar kind of reminds me of Rami Malik.
The frame of the first movie is better, the and second shorts of the first movie are also better imo.
Can't wait for Midnight Mass. Hill House is probably my favorite thing Netflix has done. Been hearing good things about this as well.
Every single Halloween and Friday the 13th film needs to be available on the various streaming outlets this time of year—every year.
Kodi with Real Debrid is great for horror movies and every other movie. It’s super cheap and not hard to set up. It costs around 20 bucks every 3 months for almost every movie and tv show ever made.
So the new Slasher: Flesh and Blood on Shudder was ok but the gore was insane. It's worth a watch imo.
Pls never post a YT video of what appears to be a horror trailer but is actually just some fucking dweeb repeating shit he read in two paragraph news articles about a movie ever again or I will personally chop your nuts off and choke you with them Nadnor TYIA
Finished Midnight Mass. Not a lot of scares to be honest but the story it tells is really interesting.
Squid Game good? reviews I read said the subtitles are awful. But if I don't know Korean would they be that bad? lol
Ghostwatch: The BBC spoof that duped a nation https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-41740176 Has anyone seen this before? Sounds so genius.
If you have a Criterion sub they’re doing a pretty amazing October film line up curated thematically: Universal, Home Invasion, True Crime, Starring X actor, films by X director, as well as a list curated by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Last Night in Soho) https://www.criterion.com/current/p...thly-lineup-announcement&utm_content=oct-2021
