SHe more or less raped him in season 2. Don't remember which episode.
Yes in the back of the van.
Sepinwall gave the seven of eight episodes he's seen very high praise: http://uproxx.com/sepinwall/the-leftovers-review-final-season-3-recap/
So excited for Sunday.
Man I am going to try my best to not watch this on Sunday nights. Sometimes it's just too much.
Back on Easter Sunday? May god have mercy for our souls.
Holy shit Tommy
So glad this is back.
That was a hell of premiere.
So judging by that final scene. The great flood or whatever doesn't take place?
Also, I'm curious what happened to Sarah's arm and the baby.
"I got him"
i have no idea what that flood scene was relaying toward and how it ties into the final scene
one thing i noticed was nora's repeated scratch, then after kevin woke up he had a scar in a similar spot
Pretty sure his scar was from when he got shot.
i assumed i was overthinking it, but this show has me theorizing like in the dark ufo blogspot days
It certainly looks like Kevin is killing himself and returning routinely, if not daily. Does that mean he's visiting something/someone at the hotel?
Great premiere, happy it's back. Second half of the episode did a great job countering all the seemingly positive spots each character was in. Kevin putting the bag over his head, damn. Ending was awesome.
seems like after every episode I turn to my wife and say, "what in the fuck?"
Goodness, I love this show.
The chick at the end is the one from the beginning set in pilgrim-like era, right?
No, that was Nora.
Have had 3 friends ask who the person was at the end. I thought it was pretty obvious that it's weathered/worn out Nora.
I'm just curious why (In what I assume is another country) would Nora/Sarah tell that nun that she doesn't know Kevin.
Their falling out is gonna be bad.
It's going to have to be.
Also, I'm curious what happened to her arm and lily.
I should have rewatched Season 2 or at least read a recap of last season online. Having said that, I did really enjoy last night's episode. Can't wait to learn more about Kevin's Sunday routine.
I caught the tail end of the season 2 finale before last nights episode. I'm definitely going to go back and watch tonight.
I definitely think there's something more than it just being Nora in the future. I mean, I guess there could be a more widespread Departure (since it looked like there weren't any people around besides the nun and Nora/Sarah), but holy fuck it would be bleak if Nora's entire new family Departed like her old one did.
What's the deal with the carrier pigeons in the end as well. She removed the message and trashed it in a bucket full of other messages. The only thing I can think of is some way of alluding to the Noah and the Ark story. In the bible, they used doves / pigeons to fly from the Ark to seek land. I think there may be something with that story.
Which could be connected to the opening of this episode. The priest kept writing down new dates. Maybe the pigeons may just be reporting old news.
Just started it.
i do like how there are objectively funny moments in this show, even though on the whole it's a pretty depressing story
Started listening to this podcast about the series http://baldmove.com/category/the-leftovers/
Lol at this music
Sounds like I'm about to watch Three's Company or something
Fuck yes at the new opening theme music
It's the Perfect Strangers intro guys!!!!
Fucking Mark Linn-Baker. This is awesome.
Lol holy shit
The Kevin's out of the bag
Nora was fucking phenomenal this episode.
Carrie Coon is so hot
The Perfect Strangers gags continue to be the funniest bit on television and they come from probably its darkest show
No tv show has the range this one does.
And what are the chances of two sheriff Kevins living together
How awkward/funny was Nora walking in on Kevin offing himself?
put on my gasoline boots and walk thru hell
i have no idea what this means but we put preview talk in spoilers
lots of us don't watch previews
