i watched 2 minutes and it is not for me anyway, it is not your fault and I would not care about knowing the ending, i can still enjoy a show if the plot makes sense towards an ending
I just furthered my researches and it seems like many people liked it. Now I am suspicious of southlick ’s taste
most people enjoy the ride but were pissed at the ending it was basically the game of thrones experience without the source material
I can trust Lip i will pierce a good box of white wine tomorrow morning. What should I watch? Lost or arcane?
I don’t know anything about arcane but you should give Lost a few episodes and if you don’t like it then move on.
i will give it a shot, like I said the ending doesn’t matter to me a whole lot in these shows. People get too sensitive with that, just enjoy the ride. You have notning to do with the show anyway
LOST is a great TV show and definitely worth watching. It has some of the most memorable singular episodes in TV history in my opinion. Much like GoT’s “Battle of the Bastards” or “Hardhome” or West Wing’s “Two Cathedrals” or Breaking Bad’s “Ozymandias” or Barry’s “Ronny/lily”, LOST’s “The Constant” and “Through the Looking Glass” are such great episodes of TV I remember the episode title. Few shows leave that mark, but LOST did. It was also probably the first TV show that intentionally weaved itself into the internet and it for sure entered the cultural zeitgeist.
I never watched it until many years after it finished airing, but looking back in hindsight, the way that show was written, it could not have been more perfectly suited for the time period in which it aired. If they had written that show the exact same way and it landed on a binge streamer, it would have never reached the heights that it did.
A small-town feud, an internet conspiracy, and an assassination attempt on the President. Welcome to Mississippi where this jaw-dropping story spirals from local drama to a national scandal. Buckle up for a wild ride. This isn’t fiction—it’s Tupelo.
I never watched it because I was in my contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian phase. “Everybody likes this shit? No thanks.”
The first 4 seasons of Lost are some of the best television ever made. It's a fantastic show. Season 5 is okay. Season 6 is meh Standard 4-season max syndrome. Anytime someone brings up Lost, Sons of Anarchy or Dexter - just stop at the end of Season 4. Storytelling wise it actually wraps up nicely if you end at Season 4's finale and just ignore the last ~10 second scene... the story ends in a great spot.
Give Lost the 4-episode trial. Standard for TV shows imo. And give it the full 4. 4th ep is honestly one of the best in the 1st season
It's not that uncommon of a belief for people that watched it live especially. First 4 seasons are Top 5-10 TV show runs. I never said it was the best show in history. Settle down
My wife who is notorious for taking forever to get into what I deem awesome shows is absolutely hooked. It took about 6-8 episodes, but she's all in. It's my first rewatch in 20 years and it's been a ton of fun knowing how it all ends and realizing how much I forgot. We are approaching the S2 finale and I cannot wait to see her reaction to it and then the S3 premiere.
I'll try to be more settled than my reply with just an emoji face. I'm glad you like your cult network tv show.
I enjoyed Lost quite a bit but there were several over the top fan boys in my friend group and the rest of us would enjoy pulling them offsides with criticism about the show
I absolutely hated the flashbacks every single episode. I made it to where one of the characters blows up the submarine and called it quitsies
Is the show the cult or the network the cult? Actually caring what network airs a TV show would be weird.
That is the whole point of the show my man, a bunch of strangers not knowing each other having to work together but the audience has to know their past to make it a more complete character. if it is not for you I can understand but I enjoy it so far, episode 4.
Hugo, Sawyer and Jin interactions were fantastic entertainment. ARSENAL obviously was never able to see Jacob. Shame
The show. It always shows up on “best cult TV shows” lists. It wasn’t a flame. I legit don’t care what other people like, I don’t think it’s some of the best TV ever made, but happy others like there thing.
it is definitely not close to the sopranos, breaking bad, dark, better call Saul, the wire. I can already tell but I don’t think that was the discussion. It is probably closer to a better walking dead level?
I think if I watched it live on as it aired, I would have enjoyed it more. Trying to power through multiple episodes in a row just wasn’t enjoyable for me. maybe in the future I’ll retry it.
